Cat Gregory

Cat Gregory is an editor based in London, working predominantly in scripted comedy and drama. After studying History at the University of Warwick, Cat became a runner at the (in)famous post-production facility Sumners in Manchester and, after a brief stint as an EFL teacher in Italy, moved to Cardiff where she became an assistant and then VFX editor on Doctor Who (series 5 & 6). She then moved to London where she continued to work as an assistant editor whilst honing her skills and craft as an editor.

After working on several series of Inside No. 9 as Assistant Editor, she was given the opportunity to cut two episodes in series 5 and then asked back as editor for an episode of series 6. Since then her career has gone from strength to strength editing on such British TV institutions as ITV’s Grantchester, the CBBC adaptation of Enid Blyton’s well-loved Malory Towers and, of course, happily returning to the Doctor Who family.
