In 2017, he changed his stage name to 金在勳 (Kim Jae Hoon) and relaunched his career in TTV and Sanlih drama “See You in Time”. He revealed that everything was done to fulfill his mother's dream.
He enlisted in the military on July 1, 2019, and he was discharged on January 25, 2021.
