Shuhada' Sadaqat (born Sinéad Marie Bernadette O'Connor; December 8, 1966 – July 26, 2023), better known as Sinéad O'Connor, was an Irish singer-songwriter, musician, and activist. Her career encompassed songs for films, collaborations with numerous artists, and appearances at charity fundraising concerts. She converted to Islam in 2018 and changed her name to Shuhada' Sadaqat, but didn't stop using her birthname professionally.
