Song Zuer

Song Zuer is a Chinese actress. Song Zuer enrolled in the Beijing Film Academy in 2018 after placing third in the National Higher Education Entrance Examination. Forbes China listed Song under their 30 Under 30 Asia 2019 list.

In 2020, Song appeared in CCTV New Year's Gala for the first time, acting out a skit called "Airport Sisters".

The actress' family took over managing her financial affairs as early as 2020. On November 28, 2022, the actress' contract with her previous company Xitian Film and Television expired.

On August 31, 2023, a former employee of Song Zuer filed an allegation with the State Administration of Taxation against the actress for tax evasion and possible fraud in the amount of 45 million RMB. The former employee used their real name, which is rare in whistleblowing cases. Neither Song nor her studio has responded or denied anything.

On August 27, 2024, Song Zuer's studio broke silence after one year and released an official statement regarding the incident that she had been verified by the tax authorities to have no tax evasion and had not been subject to administrative penalties for tax matters.
