Follow the Fingerprints

Leo Schofield spent over three decades serving a prison sentence for the brutal murder of his young wife, Michelle Schofield. "20/20" documents the significant developments in the case since his conviction, including the identification of fingerprints found inside Michelle's car, belonging to a convicted killer who lived in the area and would later confess to the crime. Now, in April of 2024, following nationwide attention to his case, Leo was released from prison on parole.
