Estrella Contreras, a single mother struggling to raise her daughter Azul, finds herself having to return to her hometown after the fateful death of her father Ulises, where she meets Fabián Bravo, a widowed father and fisherman by profession who is fighting to regain custody of his teenage daughter Yazmin. Love blossoms between them, but it will be complicated by the intrigues of Érika Méndez, Fabián's ex-partner, and the ambition of Sergio Falcón, a powerful businessman and Azul's father, who will relentlessly seek to prevent this relationship, even if it means ending the customs and traditions of an entire fishing village, which will lead Fabián and Estrella to face a hurricane of calamities, always putting the well-being of their families first.

Summary

Fabián begs Gertrudis to forget the past and let him be close to his daughter, otherwise he is willing to report her, since Yazmín almost died under his care. Gabriel sees a woman floating in the sea and rushes to help her. Estrella informs the family that their bank loan was denied, and now they must dedicate more time to their business on the beach. Iker visits ‘Sirena’ in the hospital to give her the drawing he made of her, but finds out that she will be discharged and asks her father to take care of her. Estrella is willing to become the first female fisherman to support her family and thus pay Fabián every last peso.

Fabián confesses to his father that he felt a special connection when he met Estrella. Upon hearing the revelation, Érika doesn't hesitate to feel jealous of her friend. Érika arrives at Estrella's house to inform her that Fabián is accusing Ulises of stealing a million pesos from the union. Estrella slaps Fabián after finding out that she is accusing her father of theft. He asks her to calm down and regrets everything that is happening, but there are documents that prove it. Rojas shows Estrella the documents that her father signed and assures her that he will give her three months to pay off the debt.

Estrella, her mother and her sisters are very excited to know what surprise their father has for them, however, they receive a visit from the commander, who informs them that Ulises has lost his life. Estrella arrives at La Peñita to say her last goodbye to her father, but before arriving home, she decides to go to the boardwalk to remember the beautiful moments she spent with him. Fabián, seeing her crying, approaches to help her and discovers that she is Ulises' daughter.
