Back From The Brink

Tianyao was exhausted and unconscious, and Ling Xiao took care of him, while Yanhui helped Cha to absorb the dark aura. Waking up, Cha immediately went for Master Qiyun. Tianyao casted spell to dispel Qiyun's Frost Blossom Technique and unknowingly activated the Death Curse.

Yanhui noticed the abnormality in Tongluo Village, and thought it was related to the dark aura. Unexpectedly, she met the lost and delirious Master Qiyun on the road. Lingxiao found out that Master Qiyun had been hit by the Frost Blossom Technique, and Tianyao used fire magic to resolve, but he couldn't succeed.

Lingxiao brings Yanhui back to Chenxing Mountain, and is trapped on the Starfall Terrace. Suying wants to kill Yanhui. Lingxiao resignedly damages her Heart Protecting Scale with his Soul-Annihilating Whip to destroy her spiritual power.

Bai Xiaosheng thinks Tianyao is not understanding so Tianyao wants to apologize to her after self-reflection.

To buy for time for Yanhui, Tianyao fights against Suying. However, Yanhui is not able to break the array of the Dragon Horn and she only asks for help from Bai Xiaosheng. He tells his spiritual power may be harmful to her but she just wants to get the Dragon Horn, regardless of the danger. Hence, she absorbs his power to get the Dragon Horn for Tianyao successfully.

Yanhui obtains more spiritual power from other familiars but it is still not enough for her to break the array of the Dragon Horn. Bai Xiaosheng tells her that he can give her a hand. Tianyao disagrees with that so Yanhui pretendedly promises him not to find Bai Xiansheng. Actually, she still wants Bai Xiansheng to help her since she thinks obtaining the Dragon Horn is the most important at this moment.

When Tianyao and Yanhui go to the underground city with Xiange, they see many monsters here. Since Tianyao cures them with his Spirit Dragon Spell, they recognize his identity, The Dragon King. Yanhui decides to end their master-and-servant relationship and let him fight with Suying.

Tianyao is caught. Yanhui wants to visit him in the jail so she bribes the soldier. They discuss how they could escape from the jail and Tianyau asks Yanhui to steal the spirit token. Bai Xiaosheng helps them, as a result, they become an alliance. Tianyao and Yanhui finds the room where there is the dragon horn, they stimulate Yanhui's mind's eye spiritual energy to open the door.

Tianyao and Yanhui bring Feng Qianshuo to Wangyu Tower. Feng Qianshuo dislikes Tianyao. To defend Tianyao, Yanhui satirizes Feng Qianshuo. She also scolds him as a profitter after understanding his identity, the owner of Qijue Agency.

Yanhui finds herself become abnormal so she asks Xiange why she would act like that. Xiange thinks Yanhui should love Tianyao. When Yanhui is absent-minded, Tianyao says he needs her blood for getting the dragon horns. Yanhui wants to go with him but he is afraid that she would get hurt if her Heart Protecting Scale is discovered by Suying.

Wang Pengyuan is rejected by Yanhui again. He takes the opportunity to approach Yanhui after she drunk the Fox Incense. However, Yanhui is held hand by Tianyao. Under the influence of the Fox Incense, Yanhui loves Tianyao.

Yanhui cannot get rid of Tianyao whatever she does. She finally get a chance to escape from his attention during the night of full moon. Because of the dragon bone, an aura of Tianyao attracts Dark practitioner to attack him. Yanhui rescues him from the danger. Then, Tianyao helps her to use the power of Heart Protecting Scale to fight with the enemy.

The three reach a mutual agreement and visit the place where the dragon bone was sealed. The snake spirit opens the barrier with his spiritual power. Yanhui sees the formation of the barrier was unusual and starts to doubt Tianyao's identity, Tianyao tells her the truth. At the same time, Tianyao stabs her chest with his sword and finds that her blood can break the seal of the dragon bone.

The kidnapped Yanhui wakes up in the woodshed of Tianyao's house and is told by Aunt Zhou that tonight is her wedding. But Tianyao doesn't know about the wedding. When he comes back and sees the wedding, he recalls the scene of him being hurt by Suying. He becomes abnormal. Fortunately, Mrs. Xiao comforts him.
