Tonight, more teams will wrap up their qualifying season with their fourth and final fight. While some seek a coveted top seed in the tournament, others just want to avoid a humiliating defeat. As the roller coaster ride to the Giant Nut nears its apex, it’s the last chance to hop on board for the ultimate robot ride.

With the World Championship VII tournament just around the corner, the race for the Giant Nut kicks into top gear. Tonight’s fight card features some of the biggest names in the sport jockeying for tournament seedings in their final fight of the qualifying rounds. And in what could be a preview of this year’s Championship Final, in the MAIN Event, for the first time ever SawBlaze will face the formidable flipping power of Hydra.

Tonight will be no different, as we’ve got an eclectic mix of hard-hitting favorites.

As teams take on their third qualifying fight of the season, some are in dire need of a season-saving victory while others look to storm ahead to a top seed in the World Championship Tournament. It's nonstop action and carnage, and it all builds to a kill-or-be-killed main event between two superstars—End Game and HyperShock.

Former Giant Nut winner Tombstone takes on rookie Slap Box and the part-frog, part-killer robot Ribbot takes on the feline-inspired MadCatter. Giant walker-bot Chomp makes its debut and End Game takes on Bloodsport in a messy main event.

Legendary hammer-bot Beta returns to face off with Rotator, one of the deadliest horizontal spinners on the planet. Later, two rising stars attempt to stake their claim in the contest as Gruff pits its duel-flamethrowers against Hypershock.

Hard-hitting, steel-splitting combat returns as 60 teams converge for a tournament of all-out robotic carnage! Jack Barker from End Game finally gets the match he's been waiting for as he squares off with Ray Billings and his lethal bot Tombstone.

As the Top 16 looms closer, a group of underdogs gives it their last shot, and in the Main Event, Rotator and undefeated Death Roll bring everything they have to the BattleBox.

Ziggo and Beta Raptor squared off before Backlash took on Toe-Crusher, with the winners meeting in the lightweight final. This episode premiered on February 13, 2001, paired with Episode 14.

Episode 12 was the twelfth of nineteen episodes which covered Season 2.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots. With three fights spanning the lightweight, heavyweight and superheavyweight quarter-finals, Voltronic and FrostBite opened the episode before the ten-wheeled War Machine faced Scott LaValley's DooAll. The final fight of the episode saw Beta Raptor duel with The Crusher for a place in the final four. This episode premiered on February 6, 2001, doubled up with Episode 11.

Ilya Polyakov and Blade Runner first took on Spin Orbiting Force before horizontal bar spinner Hazard squared off against Turtle Road Kill, both quarter-final battles. In the superheavyweight division, Ronin and Ginsu took to the arena. The episode premiered on October 25, 2000.

Episode 9 was the ninth of fifteen episodes which covered Season 1.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots. This episode saw the conclusion of the lightweight championship, with both semi-finals followed by the title-decider. Chuck Pitzer and Alpha Raptor first fought Fon Davis and Mouser Mecha-Catbot, before Jim Smentowski's lightweight Backlash faced Das Bot. The winners of each fight met in the final, contesting for the first Giant Nut of the season. The episode premiered on October 18, 2000.

This episode contained three battles, including two middleweight quarter-finals between Grant Imahara's hammerbot Deadblow and Alien Gladiator, then walker Pressure Drop and Ankle Biter. It closed out with a superheavyweight quarter-final clash between former champion Minion and surprise package Grendel, which got the better of Diesector last time out. The episode premiered on October 11, 2000.

Approaching the halfway mark of the season, this episode covered three of the four weight divisions. Heavyweights Voltarc took on Long Beach 1999 champion BioHazard, while superheavyweight Rammstein took on Mark Setrakian's six-legged Mechadon. Later on, Alpha Raptor fought Tentoumushi, which got the better of Sallad in Episode 1. The episode premiered on October 4, 2000.

One Bot Rules Them All: The Championship

The four quarterfinal matches determine who moves on to the semifinals.

The remaining teams face off during another Qualifiers round where they will converge in an arena of minefields and hazards for the ultimate shot at glory. In addition to the 8 battles, four wild card teams will be selected to round out the championship round of 16. Each match will consist of a single three-minute bout in which the goal is to completely destroy or disable the opponent. If there is no knockout during the three-minute battle, the panel of judges will declare a victor to move onto the next round.

During the first night of the six-episode tournament, 8 teams will converge in an arena of minefield and hazards for the ultimate shot at glory during the Qualifiers round. Each match will consist of a single three– minute bout in which the goal is to completely destroy or disable the opponent. If there is no knockout during the three-minute battle, the panel of judges will declare a victor to move onto the next round. Competitors range from NASA engineers, to teenage students, to everyone in between — each with one goal — to claim the ultimate title and walk away with the grand cash prize.
