As Thuli continues to struggle with her night school, Menzi complicates things when he joins her night class.

Always looking for a golden opportunity, Menzi finds himself partnering with the most unlikely person — James' brother, Richard. Pastor Joshua finally invites Thuli out on a date.

Sizwe lies to get out of church and hang out with Bra Hugo. Thuli believes she is being targeted by her night school teacher.

Menzi is embarrassed at Sizwe's birthday party and goes to extreme lengths to restore his honour. Following some dubious tutelage by Martha, Sihle fails a history exam.

When Bra Hugo punishes Zakhele for playing outside after dark, Thuli questions the value of community parenting.

When Thuli discovers that Lulu and Bra Hugo played a prank on Zakhele, she decides to get revenge on the neighbours. Sihle becomes obsessed that the new house isn't energy efficient.

Martha makes it her mission to infiltrate an exclusive group, Thuli interviews for prestigious position in one of James' other companies. Sihle and Lulu get drawn into a Milli Vanilli situation.

When Sihle gets an opportunity to go to Cape Town on a school trip, Thuli has to find an alternative stream of income to pay for it.

Now that the family have moved further away from EVERYTHING, Thuli struggles to get the kids to school and get to work on time.

After getting up on a soap box about the family overspending, Thuli is embarrassed when she falls in love with a pair of expensive boots and has to hide them. Menzi's back to his old tricks.

Instead of helping Zakhele with a school assignment, Sizwe ends up taking over. He receives a grade that an overbearing grandfather deserves.

To make him feel more productive, Thuli gets Sizwe a part-time job doing handyman work at her open houses. However, her dad's need to fix everything almost costs her a major sale.

James tries to exploit Thuli's blackness to gain more clients. Thuli goes along with the plan, under a few conditions, until she realises it isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Martha drags the whole family to church, where she's soon embroiled in competition with the head of the Women's League to collect blankets for charity.

Fed up with her brother's slacker ways, Thuli decides to help Menzi attend a party, so he can pitch a lucrative idea to a famous DJ. Martha fires Thuli's domestic worker.

Zakhele is newly enrolled in Sihle's school, and it feels like an alien planet. Sihle recruits him to raise money for a ridiculous cause. Meanwhile, Martha and Sizwe try to adjust to their new home.

To mark Sizwe and Martha's relocation to her house, Thuli holds a ceremony to alert the ancestors, where a goat will be slaughtered. This leaves Sihle in an awkward position.
