After KIN-CHING questions YIU-MING as to why he hit her younger brother, it turns out that YIU-MING misconstrued WING-CHING was a two-timer and worried that he was cheating on KIN-CHING. Upon her return home after school, SIU-YUEN sees SAU-HING out of the blue passing out, and starts crying out loud. In an instant, MEI-NAM is startled by the loudness of the crying, so he goes to her aid. Having learned about SIU-YUEN's tragic background, MEI-NAM cannot help having great sympathy for her.
