Charlie Luxton meets Lloyd and Caroline, who plan to build a sustainable home in Leicestershire. Charlie is worried that their eco-design might cost them the earth, but former soldier Lloyd is determined to run the build like a military operation. However, even his organisational skills cannot ward off a huge crisis with their budget, and what starts out as a passion project soon turns into an endurance test.
