The host of the party, Lawrence Tan, is arrested for the murder and he protests his innocence, hiring Jacob and Sabrina to represent him. The lawyers have a falling out over their opinions of the client - Sabrina thinks they should not be representing a sleazebag like Lawrence, while Jacob wants her to do her duty and defend him in court.
