Goodbye!
Getting that Nether project started, among other things. :) Busy week, sorry for breaking the schedule again.
Fixing old problems all over the place.
A large expenditure and a lot of work, but worth it.
Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep.
Let's crack this stronghold open and see if it's got a portal for us! :)
It's always fun travelling back to those old and familiar locations, and generating new ones!
Yay, this one's on time! :)
Off by a day again, I'm sorry. Really trying to get a schedule going, I swear!
Sorry for the delay! Nothin' but problems this week. :P
Happy 2013, here's to a great year! :) In this episode, I'm getting the goods together that I'll need to make the other goods I'll need to fight the wither. :P
I uploaded you a present! Have a safe and happy holiday!
Sheep sure grow their wool back fast!
Got busy again. :P Been doing stuff with the MCTourney guys, and things for the dayjob, and working on my map "OWBOX"
Reddit Tournaments!
Chickens in this game are so goofy.
Getting a wheat farm going - no tutorial involved, just hacking around at it myself. :)
Back from Xmas break, doing more work on the village and wranglin' some livestock.
This one's a bit more raw than usual, shows a bit of my thought process when coming up with building ideas.
A little bit more Nether, then off to do something new.
200 episodes! Hard to believe it's been so many. Also, Extravaganzagasm is probably live right now!
--
...vs. my computer. 200th episode shindig info coming soon!
Sorry for the delay, been very busy working on thing for the 200th episode celebration. ;)
Great catch, Psychobeans!
I've been busy working on some things related to the 200th episode celebration (or "Extravaganzagasm") lately. ;)

Brute force seems to be the way.
Damn, that was a lot of zombies!
I hope everyone had a lovely holiday. :)
Thanks for the help. ;)
Back from MineCon and back on track. :)
Look who's back! :)
Now let's see what this fancy table can do! :3
Three ravines (and one double ravine), three spawners, and a sprawling abandoned mine? This is madness!
It all boils down to one diamond, go figure. :P
I sure do love those new stone bricks. :)
Making further progress in the new mine. I'm pretty excited for this mine, lots of good stuff for the taking. :)
Not the most efficient method, but it's what I felt like.
A bit of recon to see what's on offer around this new village, and a weird creeper.
Had crazy audio/video sync issues so this one is a little shorter, but we'll be back to normal next time. :)
Cows, grrr.
FYI, probably streaming right now (11:30PM EST) as you read this: http://twitch.tv/coestar - if so, we're probably playing some Vechs' maps or some kind of adventure map. :)
Getting myself totally lost in this one...
Taking a little tour around before setting out again. :)
So, I've definitely found plenty of land...
Finishing up in the mine, then going on a trip! Here's a link to the FPS fix by iPeer:
These spiders are really pissed off at me, but they're tons of fun to fight! :)
OUCH!
Hooray for 1.8! I'm dying to explore all these new features. :D
--
Finding my way back and rambling about the upcoming 1.8 update. :)
Finally coming up for air, and it's refreshing. :) Let's see what we can find...
This one is a lot more "raw" than usual. With this, the flushing mechanism should be complete! Just a few items left to complete the whole project.
New World Download!
New world download will be released soon, likely in the next few days. :)
Had a little miscalculation in my construction...
Working out some of the finer details of this thing now. :)
Finally moved! Sorry for the delay. :) New project!
Realized how unnecessarily huge my cobble generator is and had a few ideas on how to fix it. :)
Now I need to think of something more useful to build. :P
Got pretty lucky there... Thinking up better uses for pistons.
Borrowed Etho's room-clearing technique. :)
Thanks for all the suggestions, I've made some of the changes you recommended. :D
Trying a new building style...
Onward to new, unexplored lands! Establishing a base and messing with pistons next. :)
Have I been gone forever? I've been gone forever. But I'm back! :D
--
Woo, 1.6! Maps are a little weird, and hatches too.
It seems all my means of getting around are slowly falling apart (except portals). :(
This is the Charity Courtyard!
Getting ready for our honored guests!
Gotta say, this is turning out better than I thought it would. I really like molding these larger structures into shape, it's a lot of fun.
Clearing out and cleaning up the tower, liking it a lot better now than I did before. :)
Acting on some good suggestions, turning that outpost into a tower. Also, news type stuff coming soonish about our next big celebration of the number 50.
Sorry for the delay, had a pretty terrible work week. Gonna try to make it up if I can. :)
As promised, new world download, go bananas!
Wow, thanks for all the feedback! Let me know what you think after you see this update. :) FYI, I will be putting together a world download soon.
Just about done. Doing a bit of landscaping as I go, and now all I can think about are towers and spires and turrets. Let me know your ideas!
I think the wall really ties the plateau together, even though I've had to murder a lot of trees to build it. Anyway... DogFort to Red Lobster, over...
And so the fort building really begins. Also, the 1.5 update sounds like it is going to be the biggest update we've had since Halloween, and probably way better! :)
Many distractions in this episode... a bit of this, a bit of that, and everything else. :)
Get the piston mod here!
Oh boy, 1.4 is here! BARK BARK
I never find baby-caverns, only these gigantic unending labyrinths. :P This is the last of my 1.3 footage!
Finishing up my new storage area as designed by Necomi, and then it's time for a little spelunking. ;)
Finally got the last bit from kiershar's design in there. Also, please consider donating to help Japan!
Now that I have some TNT to play with, it's time to take care of a few requests! :)
Now that I have access to unlimited TNT, I need to figure out what to do with it!
Work, work, work! This is probably one of my most satisfying projects so far. :)
Lots of variety and some travelling in this episode. Also, I can't believe it's been six months already! :D
Still trying to avoid using tutorials and coming up with my own (or viewer suggested) ideas. So far so good! :D
Who knew beds could be so dangerous? Anyway, I think I'm starting to get this grinder grinding. :)
Finally got around to starting that observation deck I was talking about.
It's always nice to see a familiar face, isn't it? :)
A chance encounter with a family of chickens. Other stuff happens, too.
Trench time! I'm sure this is probably going to be another big Coe-failure. I don't care, it's what I feel like doin'. It's not official until it murders me, though.
WARP SPEED. A bit of terraforming here, and a lot of work it was. The end result is looking nice, though.
Just wanted to say: I love you all! Starting a big drop trap project, I'm hoping it works the way I think it will.
Finishing up my storage room addition to the cabin, then onto some new stuff. :)
Back from my little hiatus. Been really busy with work and side projects, but I've got some footage lined up. :)
The world map has been updated!
I traveled a heckuva lot farther than I thought!
Found a great little spot to setup a new home and start trying out those new features. :)
Here's the latest news if you haven't seen it already!
--
Finally turned this station into something more respectable looking. It was a lot of work, but it was worth it! :)
Long overdue, here be E114! Sorry for the delay. My life has been a complete disaster this week.
Vote for me and/or your other favorite Minecraft LPers!
Just a little change of pace.
Finally had time to get an episode out. :D Sorry for the delay. :(
After a refreshing break, I've come back to get some work done. :) I think I'd like to go exploring soon, too...
I hope everyone has a great holiday! Go out and have some fun, open some presents, eat some good food, play some games! :D I probably won't upload a vid for two days or so, sorry! I'll be out doing holiday stuff. :)
I am really surprised that I've been having so much fun with redstone - I thought I'd hate it, but it's pretty cool when it actually works. :) Anyway, kudos to Necramar for the tutorial on the 4-way Track Switcher (hopefully I didn't screw it up too badly)
Hooray! I am missing one bit of elegance, though. Can you guess what it is?
Just about finished with my basement - installing all the final gate logic comes tomorrow. :)
Work continues on the new railway station. I don't know why, but this is the most engaging project I've taken on in Minecraft. I'm really, REALLY excited to see it working completely (full arrivals/departures). :D
EXTRAVAGANZAGASM! :D Here it is! A 1 hour and 15 minute special episode to mark the 100th episode of Coe's Quest! This project was inspired by Necramar's fantastic tutorials!

This is it! Next is the Extravaganzagasm!
Well, I'm an idiot and didn't measure things out whatsoever. However, doesn't matter! It's still awesome anyway!
How about we hit the surface and get some sun and fresh air? Time to go take care of some loose ends and get organized for things to come.
I would say that the Labyrinth has been 95% explored at this point, excluding caverns that require some demolition to expose. It still had a few final tricks up its sleeve, but I think it's safe to say that this cavern has finally been defeated.
If you haven't seen this yet, see it now! Info about the Coe's Quest 100th Episode Extravaganzagasm!
I know some of you aren't fans of caverns because they're boring, or too scary for you, or whatever - hang tight! I have plans...
This one is kind of self explanatory, I think. Must be my punishment for trying to explore out this cavern and make it my own...
There really doesn't (yet) appear to be any end in sight for this cavern - every pathway I clear out yields two more, and seems to be full of baddies. This is definitely the most epic cavern I've ever explored.
I've never explored a cavern system quite like this one, it truly is a labyrinth - and it only seems to be getting worse and worse.

Finally, the cliffhanger from E089 is resolved! How did it turn out? Who knows? Not me!
GRRRRRRR My internet was down for so long. Sorry! Finally snatched the opportunity to upload the episode. ZOMBIES!
All loaded up with supplies, I'm ready to get back down into that cavern and find out what goodies are hidden within.
Please take a moment to answer my poll if you haven't already.
This one just about gave me whiplash.
Yes, I seem to have gone a little farming crazy. :P
Thanks to the billions of advice comments I got on the last video, I think I'm a lot closer to being a farming expert now! Seriously though, thanks for the info. ;)
Finally giving a go at some agriculture -- of course, as usual, I have no clue what I'm doing.
Seems like I've finally come up with something that works!
Looks like they're out for vengeance, word must've got around about my two skeleton traps (and one destroyed skeleton spawner)! They've sent skeleton assassins to whoop my ass. :P
Just an FYI: I don't know if I'll be able to do an episode tomorrow or not, as I'll be out and about visiting friends. I'll try, though!
RRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
Doing some work towards making the dungeon hut feel a little more like home. Still a little rough around the edges, though. :)
I think the terrain generator is trying to ask me out on a date. What do you think?
Later I was really wishing I had brought some obsidian along. -.- Well, I'm not exactly know for my forethought, am I?
Did I get my items back? Will the creepers ever let me be?? AAARRRRGGGG!!
So far to travel, so much pain to endure, all this work just to find a cactus! Who knew?
I think I'll get it right this time! :D Sure! What could go wrong?
I got attacked by something I haven't experienced before, and I attempt to build a hut near to our newly discovered dungeon. :)
Since I lost my items, I ran around and gather some supplies. Now it's time to check out something interesting people found on the world map!
Ok, I can't say I'm feeling too great about this new area around the Misty Island. :( It looks great, but it feels BAD.
The flying "Misty Island" is starting to feel like home, if you ask me. We'll see what happens. Why are mobs so suicidal? They don't seem to have any sense of self-preservation. :P
The exploration of this new, enchanted realm continues onward. Many interesting land-sculptures to behold, and one in particular I claim for my own.
A very strange relic was discovered on my world map, which I must investigate. I also found a very enchanting forest in a valley, which looks just amazing.
This new area is really interesting yet surprisingly thin on jack o' lanterns. :/ I guess that means I'll just have to go searching farther. On a related note, the world map has been updated!
It's probably about time we wrapped things up in hell and moved on to bigger and better things. There's so much yet to be explored! :)
--
I ain't 'fraid a' no ghasts. The bridge/corridor thing is beginning to piss off the ghasts, I think -- I'm not such an easy target now! Does it make me a bigot if I say it worries me that so many zombie pigmen are using my bridge already? o.O
It seems my deeds will not go unpunished! No matter, the quest must go on! The bridge to somewhere must be built!
And so begins our massive project to take over hell. Now that I've secured the de.monkeyz Portal, I'm building a bridge over to our as-of-yet unnamed portal. :)
Yes, ghasts can't beat cobblestone - the day is mine! I'm taking over hell, you damn pigs! Muahaha!
After dealing with my now burning tree farm, it's time to head back to hell and get started on that base! :D
Running around in hell again, getting some lightstone. Thinking about building a base in hell. Setting trees on fire. It's been an interesting day. :P
Oh, the plans I have for hell. Those (sorta) peaceful zombie pigmen have no idea that I plan to take over their kingdom... muahaha. :)
Ok, I think the hubba44 station is back under my control once more. Hopefully it stays that way. :)
Back at Station hubba44, but all is not well... It seems some invaders have made themselves at home while I was away.
HALLOWEEN SPECIAL! The fifth and final episode in a five part epic in which I GO TO HELL (a.k.a. the Slip, or officially, the "Nether") and maybe die and do other stuff that is all generally rather Minecrafty.

EPISODE 50! Hooray!! Anywho, the mobs are truly strange in this game. I mean, I love 'em, but honestly... wtf Notch? :P
It's time to start prepare for our upcoming trip to hell. Luckily, now that the Pilif INTER-Base Railway is complete, we can throw a portal up at both ends and see if making a pitstop in hell is worth it...
Now to finish building those stations and actually RIDE THIS TRACK!
The track is finally complete - now to make it actually usable!
Branch mining is so awesome. It's a good thing I like it, 'cause that's all I've been doing for the past few nights. Still, I've found a lot of diamonds and iron, so I can't complain anyway. :)
Wow, I vastly underestimated the amount of iron I was gonna need! We're getting there, though. Sorry for the late episode... gonna try to make it up to you somehow later this week. :D
Working on connecting the two bases now, but it looks like I'm gonna have to dig up some more iron to finish it.
I think we've hit our iron goal, and I think my tree farm is actually starting to work!
After all this time, we're finally exploring a cave! Pretty decent one, too. :)
Who would've thought that a tree farm could be so rewarding, eh?
I guess it could be worse. XD
Ooo, bonus episode! It seems I've discovered the source of the magma and those creepy sounds...
Doing quite well so far, found a lot of coal and redstone, and a decent amount of iron. Thinking I'm just about through with floor 1 now. :)
I have so much redstone now. I could make a redstone computer, or redstone minecart track switchers, or redstone pancakes, or redstone underwear...
So far, this mine has been super effective at uncovering redstone ore.
Putting some finish on the ceiling/floor of Castle Dogbone, followed by sudden new things.
It feels like a waste, anyway, but only because I'm typically short of lumber. Feels weird to be building with it. :S
Niko will never be able to appreciate my gift to him. :P
Just a little bit more work towards erecting our castle, hardening the structure by adding a few more turret shafts. That should really help stiffen things up.
There's certain important things you need to know before you even *think* about building a water ladder. Guess who didn't know those things?
After getting tired of billy goating up and down that mountain, I've decided to build that suggested water ladder...
I really am a bumbling fool... :|
Fleshing out the castle... and digging a hole. Really, my motives were (and remain) quite benign!
Trying to decide what I want to do with my new land...
[SPOILER] I went an entire episode without being blown up or suicidal! Amazing!
Checking up on the aftermath, and starting my own "Laputa."
I love this new territory, so I'm establishing a new base! :D
Venturing out once again, getting things I missed.
--
Everyone else makes this stuff look easy. :P
Explore, build, search, fight? Pick one, dang it!
Getting a bit of cabin fever, how 'bout some scurvy instead?
Strange and many noises from beneath the earth...
More work on my not-quite-a-sky-bridge, and I'm mean to sheep.
Wow, seems like a long time since we've visited some of these landmarks...
Minecraft decided to reward me for my recent trials. Also, we finally emerge!
Those skeletons are REALLY ASKING FOR IT.
Building a spawner trap can't be that hard, right? Right?
Seems like everything is difficult for me... at least you get to learn from my mistakes. :P
But which one? So many quests...
Establishing our bottom-level base in preparation for making a spawner trap and the on-going diamond quest.
Time to get in there and wrangle that spawner! Also, hello r/Minecraft! HERP DERP
...perhaps it's not quite as dark as I thought?
Buncha' chickens. Buncha' pigs. Buncha' cows. Buncha' SHEEP. TOO MUCH HAM, NOT ENOUGH HIDE.
Shortening the supply trips and taking advantage of that ground-level door.
The deeper we go, the creepier it gets. It's starting to get interesting.
Is our mineshaft finally going to yield something useful?
I really, really like the sun. Also, sorry for my bad cooking habits! I'll be more attentive in the future. :P
Now we're getting down to business.
And I thought we were getting off to such a great start... man, I almost had a pregnant.
Just getting started and picking a place t o hole up (with a nice view).
