Just when Piyush has been able to win back the confidence of his team, he faces the hardest challenge as a team lead - he has to fire one of his teammates. To make matters worse, he must come to a decision during an outing with the team.

Piyush strongly feels the need for a course correction to mend his relationship with the team, but the pressure of upcoming deliverables further complicates the situation. After a shocking revelation and failure to meet the deadlines, Piyush rises to the occasion and takes one for the team.

Upon learning what his team thinks of his leadership skills, Piyush gets a reality check and decides to adopt a more aggressive and manipulative leadership style. However, even after getting the desired outcome, he ends up sabotaging his relationship with his team.

Piyush makes a bold decision to hire a new resource in his team but suffers a frustrating ordeal while interviewing potential candidates. However, when he faces pushback from his team for hiring who he thinks is the right fit, Piyush wonders if he made the right call.

Piyush jots down the pros and cons of switching his job. Should he take up a bigger role and continue in Synnotech or switch to an IT giant like SoftTech with a great hike but insignificant role? Life is all about the choices one makes. What will Piyush choose?

Piyush and Gautam notice that the exit interviews are going on for the employees. Piyush realizes that every employee is a cost as well as a resource. When the cost factor overpowers the resource factor, the employee becomes the liability and is given the pink slip. RDX has been given the pink slip. Though Piyush never liked RDX, he feels bad for him. Piyush surprises him as he runs an emotional slideshow of the RDX's old pictures. Later he gets a pleasant surprise when he gets a mail regarding his new job role for the temporary project lead. He is thrilled to know that he will be assigned a cabin. Meanwhile, Piyush gets a message from Rashmi regarding the schedule of his job interview.

It’s the appraisal day in the office. Megha reminds Piyush of his recent goof-up and he is asked how he would feel if he is assigned the bench. Piyush is heartbroken. Piyush is surprised that when he is told that Megha has recommended an A1 rating for him. Piyush is gutted. He has just exhibited his unprofessionalism by shooting a resignation mail and nobody knows it. Gautam and Piyush devise a plan. Will they be successful?

Piyush tells Gautam that he is going through a quarter-life crisis and that is why he pays too much heed to the lesser important things. It’s high time he should do something disruptive. Sunaina re-checks with Piyush about the Jefferson's project, Piyush is about to lambaste her but the trouble awaits him. The coding work goes out of control and he faces the ‘code phat gaya!’ situation. Piyush is sure that he does not deserve his current job where competitive employees like Sunaina are already outshining him. In a drunken state, he sends a message to Rashmi (HR SoftTech) asking to fix his interview asap and then tenders his resignation to Dhume by writing an informal and offensive mail. Is this the end of Piyush's journey at Synnotech?

At the office, the internet goes down for the entire floor because of some construction work outside accidentally cutting off their fibre cable. Without the internet, everything is at a standstill so the entire floor tries to pass time by playing games.

In offices, resources from teams are often exchanged temporarily depending on project requirements. In one such transfer, Piyush is made to join a team on a different floor for a month.

Nowadays, people may forget their birthdays and anniversaries but a long weekend is something everyone has marked on their calendars right at the start of the year. Some have preset plans while others try to desperately figure something out at the last minute.

The memory of what you did with your first official salary is something most, if not all, remember. Piyush explains it to Kalpesh, it's like losing your financial virginity so it has to be special. He has his eyes set on a special treat for himself. However, the best-laid plans often go awry.
