With Yuu also affected, Tagiru and Taiki suspect a Digimon to be behind it. However, when they attempt to reach DigiQuartz, the two boys, Gumdramon, and Shoutmon find the schoolyard in DigiQuartz blocked. As it turned out, Makoto's ability to make friends was arranged by Phelesmon in the guise of an angel, who intends to perform a "Sacred Ritual of Friendship".
