The 2nd Mass picks up the pieces after a devastating alien attack leaves Maggie fighting for her life…and Hal fighting for Maggie. Meanwhile, Tom and Dingaan are cut off from the rest of the group, buried under tons of rubble, where they must rely on an Enemy Ship to rescue them.

Lexi emerges more powerful and ruthless than ever. Tom and the 2nd Mass must work together with the Volm to hold off the invading Espheni forces in what becomes the bloodiest battle of the series.

After months apart, Tom finally reunites with his family and the 2nd Mass. But the joyous reunion is cut short as Lexi undergoes a health crisis tied to her hybrid DNA. The crisis pits family members against one another as they fight over how to deal with Lexi’s illness. Anne goes to great lengths to save her daughter.

After freeing Matt from the Espheni Youth Camp, Tom encounters two mysterious strangers in the woods, who attack his family before embarking with him on a violent journey. Hal faces almost insurmountable odds as he tries to lead the remaining Volm and 2nd Mass to a place of perceived safety. Lexi and Anne have a difference of opinions – resulting in dangerous consequences.

After breaking out of the Espheni Ghetto, Tom and the 2nd Mass seek refuge in a Volm hideout, where tensions run high between the Volm and humans. Tom sets off with Weaver and Cochise to find Matt, leaving Hal in charge. Meanwhile in Chinatown, Anne is reunited with Lexi, and comes to realize that the little girl she saw 6 months ago is now a grown woman.

Tom and the 2nd Mass hatch an elaborate plan to escape the confines of the Espheni Ghetto. Meanwhile back in Chinatown, after learning from Ben that Lexi has been keeping a deadly secret, Maggie confronts Lexi publicly. At the Espheni Youth Camp, Matt tries to talk Mira out of a dangerous escape plan. While trekking through the woods with her guerilla fighters, Anne has a flashback to her time in the Espheni Tower with Karen, where a terrifying secret about Lexi is revealed.

The Espheni reveal their new plan to Tom, and he is faced with an impossible decision. Meanwhile, Weaver and Pope investigate a way out of the Espheni prison, while Matt struggles to hide his true allegiance from the “Team Leaders” at the Espheni Youth Camp. Elsewhere, Anne leads an exhausting search for her daughter Lexi, while Ben’s concerns about Lexi’s increasing powers uncovers a devastating secret she’s been keeping.

On the outskirts of Charleston, just steps away from perceived safety, The Mason Clan and the remaining 2nd Mass suddenly find themselves under brutal attack by a new Espheni war machine – and a new, deadly creation unlike anything previously encountered. Hal finally reveals his internal struggle to everyone, and it doesn’t bode well for the Masons. Lourdes experiments with a risky new medical procedure. And Charleston’s government sees a massive shift in leadership when a group breaks away on a search and rescue mission.

When a mission goes terribly awry, Tom and Pope must rely on each other to survive. Meanwhile, Weaver and company search desperately for two members of the 2nd Mass who have gone missing. And Marina takes matters into her own hands in Charleston, disregarding Tom’s authority.

After the people of Charleston defeat another alien attack with the help of new advanced weaponry, Tom is invited to meet with a powerful leader. While Hal wrestles with an invasive evil, Ben struggles with his identity and the notion of being human again. And Anne uncovers startling new information that puts everyone in jeopardy.

The two-year anniversary of the alien invasion is fast approaching as the people of Charleston prepare for another potentially devastating offensive. A sniper attack by an unlikely gunman creates questions and doubts within the new government. Hal believes he knows the identity of the mole. And Anne’s concern for her baby continues to grow.

With hostilities escalating between the resistance and the alien invaders, Tom calls on a nuclear specialist known as "The Rat King" to come up with a plan that will strip the aliens of their power. As suspicion continues to mount about a mole within the resistance, Tom and his leaders make a drastic decision that jeopardizes trust among the group. Anne, meanwhile, has a feeling that all is not right with her newborn.

Season three of Falling Skies opens seven months after the 2nd Mass arrived in Charleston. In the interim, Tom has been elected to political office, but he has his hands full as the resistance continues to battle the alien invaders. Tom’s decision to have the rebel skitters fight alongside humans creates tension and raises suspicions that someone may be feeding secrets to the enemy. Meanwhile, Hal struggles with nightmares that seem so real, he has difficulty knowing if he’s awake or dreaming. And Tom and Anne prepare to welcome their baby.

Hal stumbles across bodies of de-harnessed kids and finds someone from his past. Tom and Anne grow closer. And Weaver’s health deteriorates just as Tom discovers he may have been keeping important matters from the group in order to protect them.

A familiar face returns to the 2nd Mass, but his intentions remain unknown. Meanwhile, a skitter is captured and brought back to the camp as a prisoner. And Hal bonds with Maggie as she begins to open up about her past.

While on patrol together, Ben and Hal try to help a young boy and wind up having their bikes stolen. The hunt to recover them leads them to the discovery of something much bigger. Also, Matt is put in danger, and Weaver is reunited with a family member.

The 2nd Mass moves into an airport hanger. The Berserkers plan to get rid of Tom. While dealing with a loss of one of its own, the 2nd Mass receives a promise of hope from a mysterious visitor.

Tom is haunted by memories of his time with the aliens. Pope plants seeds of doubt about him among the group. Ben’s hatred for skitters grows. The 2nd Mass locate a bridge that will help them cross the river to safety ahead of an impending attack.

Weaver is still in command of the 2nd Mass, while Anne continues to serve as medic. They have seen many battles and are a much leaner unit now. Pope has taken command of the Berserkers, a renegade group within the 2nd Mass that Weaver doesn’t fully trust.

David must figure out what it really means to let love into your life. Meanwhile, Anna seeks a fresh start of her own. But as they both embrace change, will their paths lead them back to each other?

Feeling out of place, Anna seeks guidance from a trusted confidante. Meanwhile, as David wrestles with his true feelings, Susan encourages him to face his fears.

David tries to make amends while a guarded Anna attempts to keep her distance, and a series of uncomfortable encounters leaves her questioning whether she's made the right choice.

David's still firmly in denial, but he and Anna must face some uncomfortable truths when they're forced into close quarters, and secrets begin to spill out.

While Anna attempts to adjust to her new life, David tries to ignore the growing gossip. But his past demons threaten to rear their heads.

A chance encounter with intriguing priest Father David threatens to disrupt Anna's devoted life as a nun.

Go behind the scenes of Falling Skies as the crew sheds light on some unanswered questions. Get your first glimpse of Season 3.

The panel began with a video presentation of already-aired clips, ending with the conclusion of last week’s episode, “Sanctuary, Part 1.” For this new series, which has been cable’s top launch of 2011, fans listened intently to the first question addressed to the entire panel: "What is your favourite episode?" Star Noah Wyle favoured the pilot, while Sarah Sanguin Carter (Margaret) and co-executive producers Mark Verheiden and Darryl Frank preferred the final episode of the first season. Panelists answered most fan queries with lines like “You’ll find out,” “Be patient,” and “Keep watching,” since the burning questions dealt with back stories of the characters, intentions of the aliens, why the skitters want the children, and the future of Tom and Anne’s relationship. The audience did learn, however, that there will be no flashbacks of the alien invasion, which caught quite a few spectators by surprise.
