Fury

Pee Wee (Jimmy Baird) comes back to visit the ranch. He's been learning all about petroleum engineering from his father. Joey and Pee Wee find old Mr. Farnum at his wildcat oil well and he's been hurt. Old Mr. Farnum has been experiencing unexplained accidents at the oil well. Joey and Pee Wee investigate.

Some crooks are in the area. They bought twelve horses from the Broken Wheel Ranch and used counterfeit money. Pete tells Packy the legend about the old relay station being haunted. Packy sneaks out at night to go and investigate.

A mining engineer and his son come to do some research near the Broken Wheel Ranch. Jim invites them to park their travel trailer at the ranch. An outlaw breaks into the barn at night and steals a horse. The Sheriff enlists Jim and Pete to join the posse. But while they're gone, Joey and Ronnie (Lars Henderson) go looking for the outlaw.

Air Force jets are flying over the area causing sonic booms. Miles Jackson, a local resident, is putting together a petition to shut down the Air Base. Jim assists Col. Benson in convincing the neighbors that air defense is necessary and can be helpful to everyone.

Arthur (Peter Votrian) and his mother move into a nearby ranch for the summer. Arthur is sickly and the doctor thinks that horse riding and relaxation would do him good. Joey and Jim think Arthur's mother is a little too overprotective.

Thunder is feeling his oats. He gets out of his stall and runs the range. There's a killer white stallion on the loose and the local ranchers think it's Thunder doing the killing.

Jim and Pete head out of town for the day to buy a mare and leave Joey in charge of the Broken Wheel Ranch. Joey and Packy catch Fred Berry (a local crook) illegally rounding up horses.

Packy's Mom and Dad are down on their luck. The bank wants to foreclose on their farm mortgage. Jim tries to help out but Packy's Dad doesn't want to get into any more debt so his plan is to sell Packy's horse Lucky.

Penny's Aunt Hattie has passed away. Aunt Hattie's beloved old cat named Tiger has no where to go so Penny (Diane Mountford) and Packy try to save him. Penny decides to go and hide but no one can find her.

Joey is building a model plane to enter a contest for a college scholarship. Packy wants to help, but Joey warns him not to touch it. After Packy breaks the plane he blames it on Fury. He's too ashamed to face up to it so he runs away.

A raven shows up at the Broken Wheel Ranch. Joey names him Mr. Friendly. Pete lets his superstitions run wild. He believes Mr. Friendly is a jinx and blames every mishap on him. But it turns out Mr. Friendly was good luck after all.

A couple of rival university professors are competing with each other to search for a rare bird on The Broken Wheel Ranch. Joey and Packy join in the search. But who will be the first to find it?

The weather has been very dry and conditions are ripe for wildfires. Ranger Bill Marsh enlists Jim, Pete, and Joey to help keep a watch out. Joey gets to be a lookout up in a fire tower. Packy wants to help out too. Carelessness on the part of a road work crew causes a disaster.

Smoke Nelson (John Pickard) helps Joey and Fury after they take a tumble. The next day he gets arrested for armed robbery. So Joey and Packy go to town to visit him at the jail. Fury helps Smoke break out of jail, but was it for Smoke to go prove his innocence or to make his escape?

Joey and Packy are having a Halloween party in the barn. Their friends Roger and Phil are getting in trouble pulling pranks and Jim invites them to the party. Roger and Phil have to learn their lesson the hard way.

Jim takes on a wild palomino that no one else can tame. But Packy proves with a little love anything is possible.

Aunt Harriet comes to visit the Broken Wheel Ranch. All she finds is dirt, grime, and disorder. WIll Jim, Pete, and the boys survive Aunt Harriet's visit? Princess, Fury's mare, has a colt and they name him Thunder.

In this episode, Pee Wee (Jimmy Baird) leaves the Broken Wheel Ranch to move upstate to live with his dad. The guys meet little Packy Lambert. He wants to buy a horse and he has a whole two dollars to pay for it. But Packy's dad says they can't afford a horse. So Packy brings him back to the corral at the Broken Wheel Ranch. The horse, Lucky, follows Packy who's running away from home. The guy's go out to search for Packy.

Joey and Pee Wee go out fishing and meet up with two other fishermen. But they are not who they seem to be. Things go bad when they find out the fishermen are really diamond thieves. The diamond thieves kidnap Pete to help them get through the police roadblock.

Mr. Malakey (Will Wright) moves into a nearby ranch and damns up the stream to the Broken Wheel Ranch's south pasture. He's mean to everyone but with a little kindness from Jim, Pete, Joey, and Pee Wee, Mr. Malakey softens up.

A cougar is on the loose killing livestock. A large bounty has been placed on the cougar's head. Joey, Pee Wee, and the boys want to go out and hunt the cougar, but Warden Lane is requiring the boys to get their hunting license after taking a Rifle Safety Course taught by Jim. Andy is in too big a hurry to collect that bounty so he sets out on his own, breaking several safe hunting rules. Joey and Fury take out after him, but will they get to him before the cougar does?

The County Fair is in town. Joey and Pee Wee want to go see Horace the Trick Horse. But Horace is getting too old to perform and his trainer Sam (Hal K. Dawson) is getting fired. The owner of the Fair wants to send Horace to **gasp** the glue factory. Joey, Fury, and Pee Wee hatch a plan that just might save the day.

Joey and Pee Wee baby sit for Martha Mitchell, whose husband had deserted her and her five year old son Mark. While they are baby sitting, two mysterious tramps arrive.

Jim, Pete, Joey and Pee Wee have been searching the range for a lost herd in the heat of drought. An unscrupulous horse dealer arrives and tries to poison Jim's only horses so he can buy them cheaply.

Pee Wee's father is offered his old job back and needs to travel to South America. Pee Wee is being sent away to boarding school.

Joey develops a crush on his school teacher's niece, Susan. An invitation to a picnic with Miss Miller and Susan sounds ideal until Miss Miller invites the Deputy and his younger brother along, who also has taken a liking to Susan..

When the stresses of running the ranch come to a head, Jim and Pete have an argument resulting in Pete's resignation and Jim letting him go. With the ranch being short staffed and everyone being over worked, Joey has a serious accident.

Jim becomes the area Civil Defense Warden and establishes the Broken Wheel Ranch as headquarters. He enlists all his neighbors to the program, except one rancher, who will live to regret his decision following a flash flood.

Joey and Pee Wee study the wanted posters at the Post Office hoping to earn themselves a reward. When they later recognize a real robber, they tell Jim and the Sheriff but are not taken seriously.

On Christmas Eve, Jim and Pete are disappointed that Joey and Pee Wee seem to have lost the Christmas spirit. Suddenly an old prospector arrives at the ranch looking for directions, but 'Uncle Kris' is not who he seems to be.

Jim and the Sheriff organize a bike safety program after a near miss accident on the county roads involving Joey, Pee Wee and their friends.

A pinto stallion has taken over Fury's old herd. Fury leaves the ranch to gain back control. In the meantime, Joey goes searching for Fury and is attacked by the pinto.

A tornado strikes a town about 100 miles from the Broken Wheel Ranch. The Sheriff wants to set up a tornado alarm system amongst the ranchers in the valley. Jim, Pete, Joey and Fury dig a tornado shelter.

A land developer is threatening to pull advertising revenue from the local newspaper where Joey is working. The developer is trying to run an untruthful editorial about a land deal which the towns people are soon to vote on.

When Pee Wee is picked on by the class bully because of his small size, Joey orders a body building kit to help Pee Wee bulk up. But at the school picnic Pee Wee helps rescue the bully's sister when she falls down a narrow pipe.

A neighboring chicken farmer believes his trusted dog has turned renegade after finding his chickens killed. Joey and Pee Wee try to prove the dog's innocence.

Jim becomes the Deputy Pilot for the Sheriff's Aero Squadron and Joey is enlisted to be the Ground Crew Radio Operator. Pee Wee comes down with acute appendicitis and must be flown to a hospital up north, but problems with the plane make matters worse.

Jim becomes chairman of the Community Chest and Joey's teacher appoints him to be the chairman of Junior Community Chest. Everyone pitches in to make the Community Chest a success.

Joey and Pee Wee build a soap box derby car to enter in the local races. Joey's car has the best time in the practice runs. Bobby's dad wants him to win at any cost. So Bobby (Gregory Allen Howard) sneaks over to the Broken Wheel Ranch the night before the race to sabotage Joey's car. The next day Fury tries to stop Joey from racing in the damaged car.

Joey, Pee Wee, and the gang all become Junior Firemen and learn about fire safety.

Joey befriends an ex-sailor (Mickey Simpson) who left the sea to try his hand at farming. Joey competes in a model airplane club.

Water levels in the valley have been dropping because of poachers trapping beavers for their pelts. Beaver damns help keep the water levels up. Joey and Fury and the Game Warden restock the lake with beavers, returning everything back to its natural state.

Joey befriends a handicapped boy Tim Wheeler (Peter Votrian) who's bitter about not being able to walk, run, or play ball like the other boys. Joey and Tim and the guys work on a ham radio project for school.

An outbreak of loco weed growing on the range threatens to kill horses and livestock by poisoning them when they eat it.

Joey gets caught in the middle of a ranchers feud. Mr. Hayes (Francis McDonald) and Mr. Brennan (Paul Burns) used to be friends and partners, but now they're enemies. Jim and Pete work to get them back together. But it takes a special gesture from Joey and Fury.

Joey wins a contest and becomes 'Sheriff for a Day'. Little did anyone know that dangerous criminals would visit the town that day. Sheriff Joey, Deputy Freddie, and Fury save the day.

Pete gets mixed up with some swindlers trying to sell a fake uranium mine. Jim and Fury come to the rescue.

Joey comes to the rescue of a road tramp (George Chandler). Jim hires him for some odd jobs around the ranch. The guy turns out to be the famous ventriloquist, The Great Voxo. He promises to teach Joey how to throw his voice.

One morning the newspaper headline reads, "Flying Saucers Seen in the Area." So everyone starts seeing lights at night and flying saucers during the day. Fears of little green men run rampant. This episode features Jimmy Baird as Rodney 'Pee Wee' Jenkins.

Professor Tanama comes out every summer to search for the Lost Indian Village up on Indian Mountain. If the professor can find it, there's supposed to be a vast treasure buried there.

A pack of wolves are attacking the herd of wild horses near the Broken Wheel Ranch. Jim and Pete have to run them off before they kill any more horses. Joey wants to adopt a young white colt who was separated from his mother. But Fury has other plans and brings the colt back to the herd and his mother.

Rustlers hide a stolen truck full of cattle in an unsuspecting new neighbor's barn, where police find it, and arrest him. His little girl seeks Joey's help in exposing the real crooks.

When Fury starts behaving strangely, Pete tells Joey it's "Earthquake weather", and some superstitious tales about the Indian "earthquake gods". Jim dismisses such talk, but then several tremors and then a huge, volcanic cataclysm rocks the valley.

Joey rounds up a baseball team but runs into a snag when one of the youngsters refuses to play unless he can pitch.

The Broken Wheel's mortgage holder wants to own Fury and convinces Joey to enter him into a winner-take-all horse race where Fury himself is the prize. An Irish hobo happens along and helps train Joey and Fury for their big race.

Joey befriends a new boy in school, but the friendship is discouraged by the boy's demanding father who requires his son to spend all of his free time studying in order to excel in school.

Jim's old friend Val Benton visits the Broken Wheel Ranch. Benton is a rodeo cowboy confined to a wheelchair following an accident, but Joey, who idolizes Benton, is convinced a miracle will allow Benton to walk again.

After a rabid dog bites Joey in the schoolyard, Jim and Fury must race against time to get him treated.

Joey joins the Boy Scouts of America, but Joey's friend Buzz thinks scouting is kid's stuff. Joey and Fury set out into the woods to show Buzz that scouting can make men out of boys.

A wealthy gentleman rancher and his wife want to buy Fury. Fury's not for sale, declares Jim, but his resolve weakens when Joey suffers a head injury that will leave him blind unless he undergoes an immediate $5,000 surgery.

Rustlers hit the Broken Wheel Ranch. Pete and Joey try and rescue Fury, but Fury ends up rescuing them.

The Newtons babysit Betsy, a spoiled young girl whose mother is marrying Jim's friend Bill. Betsy misses her dad, who was killed in the Korean War. Betsy's grief, anger, and hatred of Bill make her stay with the Newtons a trying time.

Hank Enos was running a local tungsten mine. After he breaks his leg, he recuperates at the the Broken Wheel Ranch. Joey and Hank catch some claim jumpers at the mine and Fury has to rescue them.

A hobo gets a job as a ranch hand at the Broken Wheel Ranch. Fury gets sick and the hobo, who's really a veterinarian on the run from the law, has to decide whether to help Fury and get caught or just walk away.

Bank robbers stash their loot at a local ghost town. Fury saves Joey and Frankie from the robbers.

Joey signs up to ride in the Junior Rodeo. But he's up against the local champion, Ty Jones (played by Sammy Ogg). Jim, Pete, and Fury help Joey learn to ride a bucking bronco.

Joey wants to enter his lamb in the 4-H Club Livestock Show. Frankie Watson is also entering a lamb. Joey learns a lesson about sportsmanship.

A Social Worker comes to check up on Joey and Jim. Joey and Fury save a man from a rattle snake bite by fetching the doctor.

A stranger arrives claiming to be Joey's real father, threatening to separate the boy from Fury. Jim must act quickly to stop the impostor.

Local ranchers think that gypsies are stealing horses. Then Fury is rustled which leads to the truth.

When Fury is smitten by a white mare, young Joey's jealousy gets the better of him, and he lets the horses escape into the wild! With Helen's help, Joey brings them back!

There is a drought. Joey becomes a junior Ranger and tries to protect a couple of hunters from starting a forest fire.

Joey gets a rifle and goes hunting with Pete. What they find is trouble in the form of an escaped criminal.

Jim has to sell some horses or lose the ranch. Pigott, the horse coper (dealer) offers to buy Fury but Jim says he is nor for sale. Later, when Joey wants to show Pigott the tricks that Fury can do, Pigott tricks Joey into being on free government land. Pigott then claims Fury and tries to get away.

A wild stallion is menacing all of the local ranches and freeing their horses. Neighbouring rancher Charlie Stevens thinks that Fury is to blame, but Joey has seen the white renegade stallion and must find it, because Charlie wants Fury dead for something he had no part in.

Jim owns a wild stallion called Fury that none of his ranch hands can tame - except young orphan Joey. When the stallion is injured by one of the ranchers, Joey runs away to help the wounded steed. Jim and his friend Helen find him in the nick of time, saving Fury's life. Jim adopts Joey as his son, and so begins a lifetime of adventure for Fury at the Broken Wheel Ranch.
