Dr. Erick Zharko and his assistant Bruce wire Max and 99 to a Dr. Frankenstein-like apparatus. Zharko figures that a jolt of his specially controlled electricity will shock Max and 99 into a five year sleep.

Max tries to test his and agent 99's relationship by dressing up like the king. In the mean time, the real king is kidnapped by KAOS. It is up to Max to rescue him.

Max must hid the king of Caronia in his apartment. Agent 99 is contently getting Max and the king confused as the king is 86's double. KAOS tries to kill them by putting a tarantula in the apartment.

The Chief takes up computer dating and winds up dating a gorgeous young woman. The Chief's boss (unseen) orders Max and 99 to follow the Chief to make sure that this romance is not a security risk. 99 also thinks that the Chief should be dating someone more his age, like her mother. The young woman is actually the wife of Dr. Paponickolini, who is giving the Chief a secret formula for eternal youth. The Chief arrives at Max's apartment for a dinner date with 99's mom but instead KAOS shows up and kidnaps 99's mother, thinking she's the wife of Dr. Paonickolini.

Max and 99 investigate after receiving a tip that KAOS is planning to blow up an aerospace center adjoining the Pomona National Golf Club - the third such incident in less than a year.

Smart and 99 pose as a flamenco dancer and a seedy doctor to fool KAOS as both search for hidden gems in Mexico.

When budget cuts hit CONTROL, 99 is on the list of agents to be laid off. She then finds a temporary job at a trading stamp redemption center, which also happens to be a KAOS munitions drop that is about to begin distribution of their latest weapon, a stereophonic pistol. 99 finds out what is going on and informs the Chief, but is captured before she can give the location. The Chief and Larabee eventually find the location, but are captured themselves. It is now up to Max to find and save them.

Max and 99 go undercover as actors Lawrence Hollywood and Viola Vain to learn how KAOS is using performances of a play to communicate with their agents.

Max must bring a scientist, Dr. Canyon, into the CONTROL camp. His problems multiply quickly; the invisible doctor turns out to be a pretty woman whose visibility returns just as Agent 99 enters their apartment.

The Smarts' honeymoon cruise ends when their sailboat blows up. They drift to an uncharted island, which soon proves to be owned by KAOS chief Seigfried.

KAOS fakes military call-up orders for Maxwell Smart and the Chief for the US Navy! Smart's restoration to the rank of Ensign makes him the Chief's superior, humiliating the Chief, who was restored to Seaman.

When Agent 99 is caught without dessert, she gratefully accepts chocolate mousse from her solicitious neighbor Naomi Farkas. Naomi and her husband Emil are secret KAOS agents who hope to photograph some papers the Chief has with him.

Smart wears a new blazer given to him by a Chinese merchant, Lin Chan. Smart, however, isn't aware he posses a weapon in the blazer, and is mystified as object disappear around him.

The big day arrives for Smart and Agent 99, but almost without Smart as he is sidetracked by a bizarre case. KAOS scientist Dr. Madre passes information on the location of the Melnick uranium mine to Max, in the form of a "drinkable map".

With an attempt to kidnap Admiral Hardgrade in the works, Max has him stay in his apartment.

Smart and the Chief try all the standard escape methods and each time KAOS has Seigfried and his henchman, Starker, block them. The Chief realizes that there must be an informer in the camp and devises a plan to fool the informer.

Each time Smart picks a best man for his upcoming wedding to Agent 99, the man meets with a mysterious accident. The Chief deducts that there must be a link between all of the accidents and KAOS because all of Max's prospects are fellow agents. To prevent further loss of manpower a t CONTROL, Hymie is appointed best man. KAOS then reveals it's true interest in Max's choice of best man - nearly to the extinction of CONTROL.

KAOS is using its League of Bald Headed Men to steal diamonds and smuggle them out of the country and fund their European payroll.

Thirty years earlier bank robbers Connie and Floyd met up with Sam Vittorio, who had robbed 192 banks. Now dying, Vittorio will only reveal the location of his hidden loot to his protégés, who look remarkably like Max and 99.

Max is assigned to protect CONTROL Courier Busby during a plane ride, but Busby mysteriously disappears from the bathroom in mid-flight.

Max and 99 stumble on SIegfried's evil plot to destroy the U.S. potato crop while visiting 99's mother in Idaho.

The Chief assigns 86 and 99 to retrieve a deadly scientific theory from KAOS. The search takes the CONTROL agents to a TV studio, where they disguise themselves as dancers.

Albert Pfister starts to blow up the world using his new silent explosive.

The Chief tells Max & 99 'Weeknews' magazine is doing a story on Control. Mr Fitzmaurice wants to accompany two Control agents on a case for his story. The Chief selects Max & 99.

Max and 99 enjoy their day off at an amusement park. Little do they realize that the Amusement Park is actually a KAOS drop-off place for secret messages.

Feeling that she has no future at Control, and no future with Max, 99 decides to leave, and accept the marriage proposal with handsome, wealthy Victor Royale. Max, feeling jealous, goes to pursue 99. Having saved Royale from an assassination attempt, Royale offers Max a job as his bodyguard.

In this take-off of The Fugitive series Max is framed by Kaos. He is charged with Bank Robbery, and Murder. This comes about when a one-handed Man (in a Maxwell Smart facemask) shoots the Bank Guard, in front of witnesses who could identify him.

Having found out that Max is a Spy, Sid who unwittingly gave what he thought was an ordinary Black Book to Kaos Agents, accompanies Max on their search for the book, and the infamous Maestro, a Top Kaos Assassin.

Max receives a visit from his Army buddy Sid Krimm.Before he arrives however,a woman defecter from Kaos shows up to give Max a little Black Book that contains the names of various Kaos Agents.

Many of the country's teenagers are dancing constantly, under the spell of the Groovy Guru, who is helping KAOS take over the country via its teenagers. The Guru plans to incite the nation's youth to riot and destroy all government institutions.

Max travels to Coronia to protect the King of Coronia from the King's evil half-brother Basil

When a top CONTROL scientist dies, it turns out that he wasn't the real brains behind the operations.

Max gets poisoned by a female KAOS agent and has to search for an antidote.

Max & 99 have to infiltrate a motorcycle gang called the ""Purple Knights"", because Control believes they kidnapped the Prime Minister of a foreign country while Max was guarding him.

The British CONTROL needs Max to go undercover.

Max and 99 go to Lost Lake to track down the person who is sabotaging missile launches.

KAOS designs the world's strongest robot.

A country singer accidentally swallows a KAOS transmitter disguised as an olive. Max has to protect her from KAOS agents.

KAOS attacks the CONTROL headquarters with a sonic boom and threatens to use it on New York City.

With a cutback at control, everyone is taking on extra jobs.

Max's new informer promises to deliver evidence implicating the top leader of KAOS, though it turns out that the informant has long been dead. Max must hold a seance to get his evidence.

KAOS is going to stop Smart from testifying against one of their agents.

Max and 99 are sent to a Latin American republic to rescue a President who has been overthrown and imprisoned by a maniacal army general dictator.

KAOS's League of Impersonators are serving as duplicates for CONTROL agents, trying to steal the plans for a warhead and wreak havoc at CONTROL. After the real Max kidnapped and is replaced by an impostor, he manages to escape and a committee has to determine which is the real Max!

Once KAOS gets a nuclear bomb, they try to blackmail the world into disarmament, but Max and 99 are sent to save the day.

Max and 99 are saved by Siegfried, who wants to defect. The Chief doesn't trust Siegfried until he starts to sell important information about KAOS.

A British scientist who came to America to reveal a new rocket fuel formula hides at Max's apartment as KAOS tries everything they can to capture him and steal the formula.

86 overhears a plot to kill scientists but Max suffers amnesia in a car crash. KAOS uses a creative way to protect this information.

When a Control agent is killed (made to look like an accident) while undercover, Max is assigned to investigate his death and to find out how a man name Frank Lloyd Joshua is causing high-rise buildings to explode.

Max is assigned to protect Miss USA, but KAOS has other plans.

KAOS is smuggling agents into the country in mummy cases.

Max is assigned to protect an Arabian Prince.

The Senate is close to closing down CONTROL which leads to some agents working with KAOS.

KAOS puts up a reward to kill Max an announces that their annual party will be canceled if they don't kill him, only causing more trouble for Max.

Octavia is destroying all of the number two men of CONTROL, so Hymie becomes the new number two man.

A women pretends to be in love with Max in order to try to kill him.

While carrying plans for a nuclear reactor, Max runs into KAOS Agents, so he must hide the plans. Max later has to pretend to be a convict and go to jail to get them back.

Max is following a Kaos agent who is smuggling a parrot. While questioning the parrot he is freed by his lawyer and Max and 99 trail him to a pet shop. Max learns that the pet shop is a cover for Melnick, the Smiling Killer. They learn that the parrots are being used to memorize secret information and then smuggled out of the country.

Max has to learn about art in order to try to capture an art thief.

86 and 99 are stranded on a KAOS controlled island where they must fight for their lives.

Max and Agent 99 go undercover to a circus in order to find a KAOS smuggling ring.

Max and Agent 99 are captured by a KAOS sub commanded by Siegfried.

Max and Harry Hoo try to solve a murder of an agent in a tropical hotel, but their suspects keep turning into victims.

CONTROL makes KAOS believe that Max is carrying a secret code.

After he is ordered to go on vacation, Max pursues the Choker to Casablanca, where he unknowingly meets 99.

Max has to impersonate a safe cracker named Jimmy Ballantine. He has his face wrapped in bandages so KAOS won't recognise him. 99 poses as a manicurist & agent 13 is in the towel steamer. Control believes the barber shop is a KAOS front. The KAOS agents want Max to open the vault of a federal reserve bank. 99 doesn't know which one,so the Chief has all the banks vaults left unlocked. Max opens the vault, KAOS guys are removing the money & plan to kill Max,when he gets the drop on them & their plan backfires. 99 & the Chief arrive & Max accidentaly locks the Chief in the vault.

Max is almost killed but then CONTROL pretends that he is dead so he can complete a secret mission to protect the IRS from a bomb planted by a KAOS agent known only as the Blaster.

A series of kidnapping take place between KAOS and CONTROL, masterminded by Siegfried. So many kidnappings take place, no one is left but Siegfried and Maxwell Smart, who must negotiate the trade of captured agents.

An agent dies, which leaves Max in charge of the "Spy's Guild" labor negotiations.

KAOS reprograms Hymie to murder the Chief. After Max foils the attempt, and unable to go through dismantling him, he hides Hymie in his apartment. Posing as Max's cousin, Hymie meets the Chief's daughter who immediately becomes smitten with the robot. KAOS again reprograms Hymie, and this time, he's out to kill Max!

Max and the Chief disguise themselves as concert critics as they go in the aid of Hubert, a violin virtuoso who has been working undercover to find the identity of KAOS's Big Boss. Just before Hubert is able to give his report he is killed but first hides a clue in the form of writen music. Max must then stop pianist Wolenska from being killed by a bomb planted in the piano on which he will perform Hubert's last symphony, a desperate attempt of the Big Boss to keep his identity secret.

The Claw is back, and planning to lead Max into his deadly trap. His scheme leads Max and 99 to San Francisco as they follow a Chinese agent (Number 3) in the hopes that this will lead them to Number One (Claw), the mastermind behind a smuggling operation that uses a laundromat as facade (though the real money is actually in the laundry). However Max gets help from Harry Hoo, a chinese police inspector with a keen eye for detail and two possibilities to explain anything.

A horde of KAOS agents are taking flights to Washington. Each one carries a piece of a bomb which is meant to explode near an American base. Max and the Chief capture one of KAOS's agents and fool-force confidential information out of him. They end up in Blue Mist Mountain and it's up to 86 to dismantle the bomb before it goes off. All the help he has is Parker on the shoe-phone, a coin, and a very expensive tie.

Max convinces the Chief of taking Fang out of retirement after some Control agents are killed by their own dogs. Each of those agents had left their pets at an animal spa while they were travelling. What they ignored was that the animals were being brainwashed before being returned to their owners. When Fang goes MIA Max disobeys orders and goes after him which causes the Chief to go rescue Max.

After being hypnotized by KAOS, Max finds himself in a difficult situation while playing a game of chess.

A retired agent and his secret diary are missing.

Max poses as an insane colonel in order to prove that a KAOS psychiatrist is revealing confidential information.

KAOS is interested in capturing Dr. Shotwire, a brilliant scientist whose work has been set 6 months back thanks to his bodyguard's helping hands (no other than 86). The KAOS agent in charge of the kidnapping, Natz, also has a vendetta with Max who sent him to prison in the past. Natz's plan involves the latest creation of rogue Dr. Ratton: Hymie a humanoid robot who enters Control as a newbie agent. However no one knows what to expect when Hymie has a drink and gets some quality time with Max.

CONTROL tries to find the location of a KAOS communications center, which turns out to be in a pool hall.

After several buildings are inexplicably blown up, Control follows the trail to an art gallery where a former chemist, debonair Rex Savage, has teamed up with painter Mondo to produce a series of explosive paintings. 99 disguises as an art expert with Max as her driver/butler as they try to get Savage's fingerprints and photograph, something that turns out to be a little more complicated than expected.

Max has to become a broken, drunk agent so that KAOS will probably try to recruit him as one of their agents. He eventually is and has a difficult task.

Max has to protect an Arab prince, who must remain fat to retain his power.

CONTROL agents are found murdered with mysterious puncture marks on their necks. The investigation leads to the mysterious Dr. Drago.

CONTROL couriers are aboard the Orient Express are being murdered in order to prevent them from delivering important information. Max and 99 get into a sticky situation while trying to solve the mystery.

Max stumbles upon a shoe store that just happens to be a KAOS communications center. Max is follwed by a KAOS agent who wants to kill him. The arrival of Max's aunt and uncle foil the KAOS agent's plan.

Alexi Sebastian, a master impersonator, attempts to kill someone who was about to reveal the secret of the KAOS coding system. Alexi disguises himself as the Chief to confuse the situation even more. Max and 99 must guard Tanya Lupescu, who has memorized KAOS' codebook. An attempt to hide her in a hotel fails, so CONTROL decides to hide her in Max's apartment. KAOS hires master impersonator Alexi Sebastian to kill Lupesco. Sebastian has successfully disguised himself as Johnny Carson and Max's Aunt Rose, so CONTROL has him listed as a 101 - shoot on sight. Sebastian disguises himself as the Chief and gets inside the apartment, but the real Chief shows up and Max is confronted by two Chiefs. Can Maxie pick the correct Chief?

Enilio Naharana steals a new drug invented by CONTROL named Immobilo, in order to use it against the Ambassador of Pinerovia. Max and 99 disguise themselves in order to save the day. Dancer and rebel Enilio Naharana steals a new CONTROL drug, Immobilo, to use against the Ambassador of Pinerovia. Immobilo paralyzes people instantly and Naharana plans to use it to prevent the Ambassador from signing a treaty with the U.S. Disguised as dancers, Max and 99 try to foil a peach of a plot. Unfortunately, Max is not a dancer and he gets caught! Keep an eye out for the bass drum sequence, which is one of the funniest bits in the entire series.

KAOS kidnaps the Chief and prepare to give him mind-control surgery. Max pretends to be a doctor in order to try to free the Chief from Harvey Satan. Evil KAOS mastermind Harvey Satan kidnaps the Chief and holds him for a $200,000 ransom. Struggling to raise the money, Max is forced to deliver a ransom of only $600. CONTROL follows the KAOS agent picking up the ransom and they find him at Satan Place. Satan is preparing the Chief for mind-control surgery, which involves KAOS freezing the Chief. Disguised as a doctor and nurse, Max and 99 try to free the frozen Chief.

Smart is to testify against KAOS soon, so they devise situations to show that Smart is losing his mind. A dying cowboy comes to Max's apartment to reveal a plot to poison the Morovian Ambassador at a costume party that night. Max calls the Chief, but when help arrives, the dead cowboy is missing and there's no proof of his ever having existed. Max dresses as a giant chicken and attends the costume ball at the embassy in order to protect the ambassador, but it's not a costume party and there's no poison in the ambassador's drink. It's all a KAOS plot to convince everyone that Max is crazy and discredit his testimony in an upcoming court case.

Conrol hosted a conference for some of the smarted scientists on the planet, but KAOS has other plans which include a retrogressor gun. CONTROL is due to host a conference of six scientific geniuses, but just before it occurs,. KAOS manages to steal CONTROL's retrogressor gun. The gun, which turns adults into children mentally, is taken by a KAOS mole who manages to retrogress the gun's inventor and the Chief. KAOS' goal is to turn the scientists into children, destroying the free world's greatest minds. Max takes over the conference and by knowing his history of Captain Kangaroo, defeats the mole.

Indians threaten to use a bomb if they don't get all of their land back. Smart then goes into their camp and foils their plan. While on his three-week vacation Agent 43 is confronted by a group of rebel Indians. They demand the return of all Indian lands or they will fire their secret weapon on Washington. Max calls an all-out alert, though we're not sure if it's because of an Indian attack or because he doesn't get three weeks vacation. Once saturation bombing of Arizona is discarded as a plan, Max and 99 mount 'em up and head out to disarm the secret weapon. Max, disguised as a Papawahsee, infiltrates the camp. The Papwahsee is actually the Indian word for fiancee and Max is forced to romance Chief Red Cloud's daughter to fulfill his assignment. A jealous 99 raids the camp to prevent Max from kissing the daughter and tries to prevent the Indians from launching their secret weapon, a giant arrow.

A doctor meets Max at his apartment and convinces him that he has escaped from KAOS with an invisibility ray. KAOS then attempts to kidnap Max as tries to figure out if the ray is real.

KAOS is secretly smuggling secrets out of the country. 99 discovers they are using a Department Store as a front and Polly Dollys to smuggle out the secrets. When one pulls the doll's string, Polly reveals top secrets. Max and 99 get caught by KAOS. Using children's toys, Max and 99 attempt to fight their way to safety and stop KAOS' smuggling ring.

Smart goes undercover at the CONTROL spy school to find an undercover KAOS spy. CONTROL's spy school has been infiltrated by KAOS. To find the imposter, Max and Fang go undercover as students, while 99 poses as an instructor. There are three students suspected of being imposters - Dimitri, Grillak, and Zukor. Max must verify that Dimitri speaks a rare East Himalayan dialect, that Zukor has unusual handwriting, and that Grillak has a heart-shaped birthmark. Max finds himself all wet when attempting to eliminate them from the suspect list and he and 99 get captured and tied to a bomb. It is only by Fang's skilled intervention that they aren't blown to bits.

Numerous blondes have been kidnapped and Smart is assigned to protect a beautiful diplomat's daughter. He discovers the KAOS lair and tangles with The Claw, capturing him and his henchmen.
