Are the Greenlanders willing to abandon age-old traditions and customs that make them unique, but may also hinder their future?

In Qaqortoq, Karine sets out with chef Salik. He invites her to a Greenlandic meal at his home, along with his American partner, Julia. He also takes Karine to Narsaq, a small town at the foot of a highly sought-after mineral-rich mountain. His niece, Avaaraq, is fighting against the opening of a mine there.
