The Cesaronis

Irene begins dating Alessio, the high school bully who spearheads the school occupation. Alice tries everything she can to mend her relationship with Francesco, who, to make her jealous, begins dating Arianna, the beautiful physical therapist. Nina tries everything she can to convince Francesco to step back and get back together with Alice.

Giulio is finally about to leave for New York, but Lucia, due to an unexpected event, must join Eva in San Francisco. Once again, fate keeps them apart. Rudi urges Irene to forget about the kiss and realize that Mimmo is in love with her. Meanwhile, Francesco forces Alice to move her things from their house.

Marco returns home and discovers that Francesco and Alice have broken up because of her infidelity. To impress Irene, Mimmo offers to help her with her physics homework, but the plan backfires, and when he has to retrieve the originals from the teachers' room, he's forced to ask Rudi for help. Irene becomes increasingly fascinated by the older Cesaroni.

Sofia offers to accompany Nina to Rimini to meet Federico, and once they're alone, she takes advantage of the situation to confess that she spent a night of love with Giulio in her youth, but she doesn't tell her she's his daughter. The innkeeper is hesitant to tell Nina he's her father, but Annibale dissuades him.

Alice and Francesco, both wheelchair-bound, are taken in by the Cesaroni household. The situation isn't great, and tensions between her, him, and Rudi threaten to explode at any moment. Annibale becomes embroiled in the Cesaronis' and Stefania's problems: he must help Cesare, who doesn't trust Augusto and fears he might steal money from the liquor store, and Stefania, who must track down Ezio.

All the Cesaronis rally around Francesco in the hospital after a serious accident. Alice, distraught with guilt, wishes she could be by his side and help him. The Cesaronis must come to terms with another shocking piece of news: Annibale, their fourth brother, is gay. Meanwhile, Sofia goes to a job interview in L'Aquila and discovers that her children aren't exactly what she expected.

Ezio learns from the newspapers that the Captain who married him and Stefania years earlier on a boat was actually a con man. The marriage is invalid, and Ezio wants to exploit his new single status, but all he does is ruin his relationship with Stefania. Giulio and Lucia try to mend fences. Francesco asks Alice to move in together, and she accepts. Thirty years have passed since the death of his father, Romolo, and to commemorate him, Cesare has decided to move his body to a new chapel. But the coffin has disappeared. Giulio and Augusto try to hide from him the fact that his father had a lover and that he wished to be buried next to her, but the truth comes out.

Stefania and Lucia discover that Giulio and Ezio are chauvinistic and backward toward love between women and decide to take revenge. The prank spirals out of control. A trip to the beach before all their friends' high school exams brings Alice and Rudi closer, but Francesco's arrival throws everything into disarray. With Pamela away, Cesare allows himself to be seduced by Carla, Blinda's mother, who tries to win him over. Pamela kicks him out of the house. Cesare then shows up at Carla's house with Giulio and Ezio with a plan that should put everything right. Eva's arrival makes coexistence at the Cesaroni house with Marco and Maya increasingly difficult, sparking a fight between the two lovers.

Lucia and Stefania host a famous chef at their bookstore. He hosts a TV show where the husband and wife cook, and they always end up arguing. This is exactly what happens to Lucia and Giulio when they decide to challenge each other to see who is the best cook. The outcome of the challenge will have amusing and unpredictable consequences. To help Lisa repay her debt, Rudi and Diego organize a clandestine gambling den in the wine shop, taking advantage of Giulio's absence and without Cesare's knowledge. Ezio covers for them by making Cesare and Salvatore believe he is an alcoholic. But the misunderstanding is destined to fail, and the truth comes out. Diego, however, manages to get back into Stefania's good graces and is welcomed back into the house.

With Giulio and Lucia away, Cesare and Ezio must take care of Mimmo. However, the boy falls into the clutches of Son Sei, a repurposed host on a local TV station that distributes lottery numbers. Maya discovers that her parents have cut off her finances and, to support herself, finds a job as a wedding photographer's assistant. It's Barilon's birthday, and Ezio decides to give him an ancient Egyptian ornament depicting a black cat. When the mechanic discovers that the figurine brings good luck, he convinces Cesare and Giulio to help him steal it, triggering a curse that affects everyone. But things are not as they seem. Diego's sister Lisa unexpectedly arrives in town.

During an away match between Roma and Palermo, Salvatore dreams that Giulio will die and convinces Cesare to do everything he can to prevent the tragedy. The dream turns out to be incredibly true, but, fortunately, not everything goes as planned. The Grand Dukes use every devious means to pressure Marco and his family and force the Cesaroni family out of Maya's life. They organize a gala dinner where all sorts of bizarre events occur, but true love is hard to defeat.

Giulio and Cesare, lured by a large sum of money, decide to sell the liquor store to the Chinese. But retirement life isn't as fun as they thought. After a night of passion, Rudi avoids Alice, unsure of his feelings, and she suffers, giving in more and more to Francesco's attentions. Stefania receives explosive news: a well-known director is interested in making a film of her erotic novel. He asks Lucia to pose as his agent. The two women thus meet none other than Rocco Siffredi. Giulio is jealous, but rather than admit it, he unleashes a series of events that could destroy his newly formed union with his wife.

In Garbatella, Blind People's Day is being celebrated, and Sonsei, having become blind out of necessity, frames the Cesaronis by cheating them as usual. Meanwhile, Marco, with Francesco's help, decides to force fate for once and declare his love to Maya. Meanwhile, Mimmo decides to pose as Justin Bieber to help Belinda and thus teach Matilde a lesson. Cesare and Ezio find themselves at loggerheads over Walterino, the Masettis' hamster. To resolve the matter, the two friends are forced to turn to the Forum court. Ezio is accused of stealing money from Barilon's garage, and Diego is the only one willing to help the mechanic prove his innocence. Mimmo seeks comfort in prayer to ease the pain of love, but Ezio is convinced that the boy's destiny is to become a saint. Francesco, Jolanda, Rudi, and the others organize a surprise party for Alice's eighteenth birthday, but she ruins her friends' plans by leaving for Milan.

Cesare is convinced that Flaminio Maphia plagiarized a rap song he composed in his youth with Giulio and Ezio and their group, "The Gladiators." To prove to everyone that the current hit, "Rome by Night," is his creation, he decides to reunite the band. Giulio and Ezio, however, are too rusty to play, and Cesare decides to fend for himself. Ezio, Giulio, and Cesare decide to kidnap Lucia so that Giulio can prove his courage by saving her and at the same time cast a bad light on Fabrizio, Lucia's boyfriend. The mechanic's plan, however, goes awry, and the three end up in a world of trouble. Alice and Jolanda, despite initial difficulties, receive an order for their clothing.

Ezio decides to buy an old Alfa Romeo Arna, so he convinces Cesare and Giulio to take a trip to Sicily to pick up the car. Fueled by Cesare's prejudices against the island, the three become convinced they're staying with a mafia family. Meanwhile, Lucia is forced to confront her jealousy: seeing Giulio in a costume on the front page of a neighborhood calendar is quite disturbing to her.

Giulio, Cesare, and Ezio clash with Stefania and Lucia over the assignment of the former Barilon store, where the men want to open a Roma Club and the women a bookstore. In a clash where the ends justify the means, Giulio, seeing the bookstore as a reason for Lucia to stay in Rome, boycotts his friends. Cesare discovers he has a son, the result of a sperm donation he made in his youth. However, things aren't as they seem, and this time, Cesare's enthusiasm will suffer the consequences. To finance their fashion project, Alice and Jolanda decide to find work as waiters, which is how they meet Francesco.

Ezio and Cesare, certain they're in contact with aliens, become convinced the world is about to end and decide to steal a submarine to save themselves from the Great Flood. For Giulio, however, the most important thing is to make a good impression on Lucia. While Alice and Rudi grow increasingly cold, Diego meets Miriam, and they immediately fall in love. Giulio finds himself dealing with a young suitor who, because of Ezio and Cesare's intervention, threatens to report him in revenge for being rejected. Lucia's intervention brings the girl to her senses, and Giulio, happy at his newfound connection with his ex-wife, can only be stunned when she announces she's about to return to Venice.

Lucia has remained in Rome to organize an exhibition of young emerging painters, and Ezio, convinced that she wants to win Giulio back, hatches a plan to bring the two back together. When the innkeeper convinces himself he's got a second chance with his ex-wife, the truth hits him like a cold shower. Rudi returns from vacation convinced he's forgotten Miriam, and Alice is filled with hope that his feelings will be reciprocated. Ezio decides to buy Walter's former garage, and to do so, he ends up gambling away the Cesaroni wine shop, pitting himself against a biker gang. Marco, thanks to Lucia's support, finds the courage to tell Giulio the truth about his relationship with Eva. Meanwhile, he and Maya are at loggerheads, so much so that the young Cesaroni does everything he can to make her look bad to her family.

Marco gets a setback from his record company: his album isn't well received. He spirals into self-destruction. Alice is heartbroken over the end of her relationship with Walter. To cheer her up, Jolanda throws her a party, which, however, goes haywire.

Olga finally makes herself heard, but she has no intention of returning. She entrusts the children to Emma, with Giulio willing to keep them at his house. Furthermore, the two, aided by Ezio and Cesare, must cope with a birthday party Olga was supposed to organize, which will have unpredictable outcomes. Marco is devastated: Eva has gone with Marta to Venice to visit Lucia.

Marco and Eva, after the shock of Marta's disappearance, realize they've spent too much time at work and too little time with their family. They decide to treat themselves to a relaxing day at the beach. But Marco has a secret that's making him feel bad, and it will come out, upsetting his relationship with Eva. Walter and Carlotta also face a moment of truth: they love each other. She leaves her husband, and he leaves Alice, who, however, doesn't know about Carlotta.

Ezio and Cesare step forward: however, the two decide to enter the girl in a competition at Cinecittà, encountering a series of comical complications that spiral into tragedy when they lose the child.

The fire at the garage and motorcycle throws Walter into a panic. Walter is drawn dangerously into the world of horse racing. Luckily, this is the right time for Ezio to bury the hatchet and act like a father. Olga and her children have a problem at home and turn to Giulio for help.

Giulio is furious with Walter and Alice and their secret affair. So are Ezio and Stefania. Marco and Eva, on the other hand, are disappointed: they expected more honesty from their best friend and sister. Furthermore, Walter, under the stress, breaks a key part of the motorcycle he was modifying.

Since he's been seeing Olga, Giulio has been constantly away from home, attending exhibitions and events she organizes. Stefania and Pamela urge their husbands to be less of a couch potato. Ezio and Cesare then infiltrate an exclusive party Olga is hosting at a golf club, resulting in a series of hilarious incidents and misunderstandings.

Alice and Walter live their relationship in secret. Marco and Eva both work in radio and don't have much time for themselves anymore. Giulio and Olga have a connection, but Olga can't take it any further. Olga takes advantage of the situation to organize the launch of her sister Emma's book at the wine shop, but her ideas for renovating the place cause a clash between Giulio and Cesare.

Since Giulio has been single, he's always on edge. Ezio and Cesare realize he needs to get back on track. The three embark on a series of tragicomic attempts to meet women. When all seems lost, Giulio meets Gianna. Ezio and Cesare have a hand in it, but have they made the right choice?

After the trip to Misano, Walter and Alice have grown closer, but both are afraid to declare their feelings for the consequences it would have on their respective families. Only Palmiro, the old mechanic at the garage, urges Walter to take the plunge, and it is Palmiro who, tragically, brings the two together.

After meeting Lucia, Giulio is officially separated and out of therapy. He decides to celebrate by going camping with Ezio and Cesare, but Barilon, feeling left out, plans to sabotage his outing. Gabriella, who blames Giulio for the end of her marriage to Lucia, never sets foot in the Cesaroni household again, but she misses everyone and pretends to be ill to have them around again.

Giulio's moment of truth has arrived with Lucia. A new traffic cop is terrifying everyone in Garbatella: it's Germana. She's decided to return to her job after Barilon's shop goes into crisis. Ezio and Cesare decide to sabotage her, but something goes wrong. Ezio can't sell the shop, but Barilon has the right idea, and the two become partners.

Marco and Eva, who have decided to stay at the Cesaroni house to help Giulio, are unable to sleep because of Marta's crying, as she's teething. Alice, on the other hand, has met a wonderful boy and would like to make love to him, but she's not ready yet. Walter, who had lent her the house, is relieved.

Giulio, in the midst of therapy, is still suffering. Furthermore, he believes Ezio and Cesare are ignoring him, but they are only doing so for his own good. After going to Venice with her mother, Alice returns to start school again. At class, Rudi meets a new student: Miriam, Olga's daughter. Mimmo also meets Andy, the wedding planner's other son.

After two weeks of heated discussions and arguments, the crisis between Giulio and Lucia hasn't subsided. The two have decided to separate. Giulio acts calm, but it's just a facade. He begins to have a crisis and decides to seek therapy from Emma, the sister of Olga, the wedding planner for Cesare's wedding. Things are also getting tough for Ezio: he argues with Walter, who wanted to repair a motorcycle at the shop.

About a year has passed in the lives of the Cesaroni family and their friends from Garbatella: Marco and Eva have just returned from the X Tour with little Marta, who is everyone's joy. Rudi, Alice, Budino, Jolanda, Lorenzo, and Regina return from vacation, struggling with adolescence. And Carlotta also rejoins Eva and Walter's lives.

Mimmo wisely comments that the fate of exes is truly unpredictable. Cesare is in crisis because his relationship with Pamela becomes more complicated day by day, while the rift between Giulio and Lucia deepens. And inevitably, suitors appear for both of them. Eva and Marco are also suffering from the mutual distance while preparations are in full swing for her upcoming wedding and his first Milanese concert in front of thousands of people. Eva has asked Walter to be her best man, while James, Alex's friend and best man, arrives from the United States. Marco successfully presents his new song from Milan, meanwhile Cesare faces a grave threat concerning Pamela and Matilde. On the wedding day itself, Lucia and Giulio, who have decided to separate immediately after the ceremony, find themselves feverishly searching for a new apartment each. Yet fate will surprise them once again.

Marco is also leaving for the press conference in Milan, but he's hesitant: his brothers urge him to go. His world tour is about to begin, and it's an opportunity he can't miss: he'll be supporting the Arctic Monkeys! Lucia realizes she's hurt her husband with her story of wanting to change him for the elections.

In the wine shop, people are discussing the timid Arduino Mandelli's candidacy, when Barilon enters triumphantly, announcing his upcoming election as mayor of the town. Faced with his attack on "Romanity," Giulio rises to the challenge and immediately takes to the field to defend his people and Garbatella from the barbarian invasion from the North. Lucia disagrees; politics isn't something you can improvise. Only when Germana provokes her does she become convinced: her husband will win, and she will help him in any way she can! Meanwhile, Marco has been selected for an important competition, but Simona and Franco tremble when they discover that the missing juror is their old enemy Criscuolo, who must cast the decisive vote to get Marco through. Walter makes matters worse by beating up the record executive for daring to insult his wife. In the end, Franco resolves matters by giving Criscuolo 50% of the producer's profits from Marco's album.

Eva discovers that Alex has been lying to her: he isn't the head chef at the restaurant where she works, but merely an assistant. By chance, she encounters Selvaggia, a spoiled and overbearing teenager who, blinded by jealousy, stalks her boyfriend Daniele. Eva encourages Alex to never settle and pushes him to accept a catering job for a birthday party, which turns out to be Selvaggia's mega-party! Eva receives a visit from her father Sergio, who still doesn't know Alex. The two hit it off, and Sergio suggests that Alex work at a restaurant in Milan where he will be a partner. Eva urges him to accept, but Alex wants to be with her as much as possible, so overworking isn't a good idea. Jolanda decides to celebrate her fifteenth birthday in style and asks Alice for help organizing the party in Walter's warehouse.

Eva knows that sooner or later she'll have to face Alex, who has returned to Rome with the intention of caring for her and their unborn child. But for now, she refuses to see him, so much so that the boy turns to Marco for help. Her stepbrother painfully puts aside his own feelings and, for Eva's sake, advises her to think about what she's doing. Alice "enters" Stefano's world. He takes her to lunch where they meet some of his colleagues; the girl doesn't notice, but the three tease Stefano, who hasn't had a good idea in a while and has an important project to present the next day. He finally admits to his young friend that he hasn't done anything for the competition.

The athlete's lawyer, Tiziano Marrese, appears before the editorial office of "Up to You," warning the magazine against publishing Eva's interview. He will also file a complaint against the journalist for moral damages and assault, recommending Eva Cudicini's disbarment. Editor-in-chief Iva is shocked and asks her assistant to investigate. Cinzia shows her a hotel recording showing Marco and Simona escaping from the athlete's room. Iva is forced to admit that her trust has been betrayed; furthermore, she must pay Marrese a considerable sum to hush up the scandal. Meanwhile, Eva complains to Marco about her mother's coldness, hurt by the late revelation. The two women engage in a heated confrontation, and soon afterward, Eva receives a call from her boss, firing her on the spot. Marco, in turn, tries to speak to Simona, who avoids him.

Iva Zavattini calls Eva: she assumes she's in Friuli for the investigation she's entrusted to her and recommends she return to Rome immediately to interview the famous athlete Tiziano Marrese. The child prodigy of Italian track and field has never given an interview because he's dependent on a controlling mother, and the "stolen" meeting could prove to be a real scoop. It's Giulio's birthday, but tensions are palpable in the Cesaroni household. Lucia remains conflicted about the country house, even though Sergio, her ex-husband, has denied her the loan. She'll be met by Sonsei, who received a large inheritance following his wife's death. The former school janitor, who was never lame, now wants to settle all accounts with his past. He shows up at Stefania's house, telling her he'll help the high school renovate the gym. He also wants to repay the Cesaronis, who helped him when loan sharks were harassing him.

Lucia's mother, Gabriella, hits Fernando with her car. Instead of getting angry, the school psychologist is struck by her voice and suggests she dub an animated film he's written. She'll play the role of Leprottina, destined to die. Gabriella demands a happy ending, and in the dubbing room, she changes all the dialogue. The same morning of the accident, Stefania confides in Lucia that she's the author of the month's bestseller: an erotic manual she's signed under the pseudonym Leida Fantasy, with a title that says it all: "I Married Eros-Ideas to Never Lose Passion." The book is the talk of the town. Barilon, who's complaining about his relationship with Germana, reads it secretly: since Teresa entered his life, things in bed haven't been the same. Ezio mocks him, but when he leafs through the book, his face blanches: the Eros described is too similar to him, and the ideas it suggests are the ones he and Stefania have put into practice.

At home, they debate whether a new maid is really necessary, and ultimately decide on the beautiful Teresa, a Venetian woman separated with children, excellent and desperate for work. When Barilon sees her, it's love at first sight. Meanwhile, Germana is complaining to Lucia about having argued with her husband, as has often happened lately. Lucia consoles her and, lying under Stefania's astonished gaze, admits that things are going badly with Giulio too. Rudi, increasingly hurt by Fabiana's behavior, stops going to school. He starts working in the wine shop, welcomed enthusiastically by his uncle Cesare. Giulio, however, disagrees and, as is his wont, becomes angry with his son, who refuses to offer any explanation and withdraws into himself. Meanwhile, Marco and Simona, increasingly in love, are working tirelessly on recording their first album, he as a musician, she as a producer.

Matilde accidentally meets a colleague of Pamela's, the prostitute Godiva, who has just been released from prison. Naturally, the young girl doesn't know what her beloved mother's profession was, believing her to have been a noble benefactor. When Matilde comes up with the idea of organizing a memorial in her honor, Cesare and the Cesaroni family are shocked: no one dares tell her the truth. A man with a seductive yet disreputable air shows up at the Cesaroni wine shop asking for news of Pamela's daughter. His name is Lojacono and he claims to be Matilde's father. Cesare puts up a fight, but Ezio, with his clumsiness, even takes the stranger home to avoid him! A debate erupts at the Cesaroni family: what if Lojacono is really Matilde's father? What right does Cesare have to prevent them from meeting?

Walter seems to have finally found a "serious" job: he's a debt collector, handling the most difficult cases, clients of finance companies who refuse to pay, disappearing into thin air or making the most unlikely excuses. With the astute intelligence of someone who grew up in Garbatella, he's a natural fit for his new job. His father, however, continues to avoid work at the new garage, which would otherwise be busy, to frequent Cesaroni's wine shop. The director of Up To You commissions Eva to conduct an investigation that touches her deeply: why do men today reject fatherhood? In the office of a well-known gynecologist, Eva spots the dancer Esmeralda. When she confronts her, abandoned by her partner Sandro, Eva relives her own drama and the painful rejection of her ex-partner Alex and discovers that, in reality, it's the girl herself who resists her own motherhood, much like her.

Lucia and Stefania, longtime friends and rivals, this time compete to see who has the best husband. Unbeknownst to either of them, they draw up a list of four subjects to compete on: willingness to help, post-love cuddles, attention to detail, and finally, romance. The battle is fierce, and despite their promises not to cheat, Lucia is the first to be unfair! Eva's first article is published and gets some attention, at least in the Cesaroni household. Marco congratulates her and invites her to listen to him at Franco's club, where his songs are having great success. Walter goes to pick up his friend, but at the last minute Eva, feeling unwell, cancels, citing too much work.

Marco, feeling neglected by Criscuolo, decides to leave. However, the record producer warns him that if the musician terminates his contract, he will have to pay a penalty of thirty thousand euros, representing the expenses he has incurred up to that point for his promotion. And, to spite him, he entrusts him with the task of creating the jingle for a toilet paper commercial. Lucia points out to Giulio that it's partly his fault: Marco, before signing the contract, had asked his father for his opinion. Eva gets an opportunity: she's called to the editorial office of the trendiest magazine of the moment, the famous Up To You. She's welcomed by Cinzia, assistant to the newspaper's fearsome editor, Iva Zavattini, who never shows up in the editorial office. In such a competitive environment, the apprenticeship is brutal: Eva is tasked with organizing the archives.

Rudi is worried about Ulrico's reported attack and enlists the help of the high school janitor, Son-sei, a crippled martial arts instructor. Marco seems to have his big break with Criscuolo: a prime-time debut on a show hosted by Pippo Baudo! At the last minute, however, the record producer announces that he will have to replace one of the missing musicians from the well-known band he promoted, Cugini di Campagna. Disgusted and disappointed, Marco refuses. To improve his relationship with Matilde, Cesare has decided to buy a new, larger house. The girl will start school, and her teacher will be none other than Lucia. Giulio urges his brother not to embarrass Matilde when he drops her off the next day: for once, she should dress appropriately.

Finally safe within the walls of the Cesaroni household, Eva calmly reflects on the last difficult period: the terrible scene Alex made, her sudden departure from New York, her return to Rome. Matilde, who witnesses the match, suggests her stepfather bribe the two boys who are overwhelmingly winning against Giulio, Cesare and Ezio, once known as the "Garballeros," the champions of Garbatella, with some vile money.

Giulio takes a dislike to Tamara, whose unusual habits have disrupted the Cesaroni household and, more importantly, driven his son Marco away from expensive music school. She's staying with her friend Carlotta, to whom, however, she hasn't revealed the real reason for her return to Rome.

The woman, however, falls in love with him and the innkeeper must try in every way to resist the young woman's assaults. Meanwhile, Alice, to impress a boy, joins the school soccer team coached by Cesare and Lucia returns from America.

After a strange phone call, Giulio becomes convinced that Lucia is being pursued by a man. After entrusting his children to the care of Ezio and Stefania, the innkeeper leaves for the United States with Cesare and Gabriella, but during the flight the Cesaroni brothers are mistaken for two attackers and repatriated. Upon his return to Italy, Giulio discovers that the mysterious John is none other than Lucia's gay roommate.

Rudi is growing up and seems to be morbidly attracted to girls. So Giulio, not without embarrassment, begins to address the topic of sex with his children. Rudi, however, wants to move from theory to practice and invites his friends home to play the "postman game". When the innkeeper catches Rudi kissing Alice, he goes back to his old ways. Meanwhile, Eva becomes jealous once she discovers the relationship.

Alice hangs out with a bully named Riccardo who, in order to be accepted by Giulio, tries to appear serious and studious. When the innkeeper, with Rudi's help, discovers the boy's true nature, he reserves his most classic punishment for him: the broom. Meanwhile, Ezio, because of a prank by Giulio and his brother, argues with Stefania and leaves home.

Rudi takes part in a psychological test and the result, to everyone's surprise, is that the boy is a genius. Giulio, enthusiastic, does everything to satisfy his son's needs and stimulate his intelligence. Alice, suspicious, discovers that the Leonardo da Vinci of Garbatella copied the answers. Lucia convinces Rudi to confess and the father's punishment is not long in coming. Marco seems increasingly strange and it is now clear to everyone that he is in love. However, no one suspects that the lucky girl is Eva. Meanwhile, Sergio shows up at the Cesaroni house and, on the verge of being named Cavaliere del Lavoro by the President of the Republic, he would like to take advantage of the opportunity to embarrass Giulio and win Lucia back.

Marco and Giulio have a tough fight over the young man's decision to become a musician. Meanwhile, Lucia receives a beautiful necklace as a gift from an anonymous admirer. The woman thinks that the gift was given to Giulio and when she discovers that the necklace actually came from her admirer Andrea, she flies into a rage. Don Gervasio, the president of the Romulana, the neighborhood soccer team, dies suddenly, so Cesare and Andrea run for the succession. The innkeeper, thanks to Ezio's help, becomes the new president but, for the good of the team, gives up his place to the wealthier rival. The latter, after another attempt to seduce Lucia, receives Giulio's violent congratulations.

Meanwhile, Lucia feels lost when Eva confides in her that she intends to make love for the first time with her boyfriend and has a tough fight with her daughter. Unfortunately, finances are languishing and Giulio finds himself entangled with a financial company and forced to lie to Lucia. The latter, having discovered her future husband's lies, decides to punish him to teach him a lesson. Giulio, in an excess of romanticism, leads Lucia to the place where twenty years before he had made love to her for the first time, but unfortunately he gets the wrong place. Lucia, with a deadly pressure, manages to make Giulio confess: the other, the accused girl, was Stefania, now Ezio's wife. Lucia punishes her friend by wrecking her car.
