Xiao Qi was moved when she saw the entire room filled with stars Jiang Shiyi had arranged. It reminded her of the starry nights that always graced her birthdays in the past, which she didn't know were secretly created by Jiang Shiyi using his supernatural abilities. She had received an invitation from Fang Leng, and even though it was raining heavily.

Xiao Qi bought candy for Jiang Shi Yi but found herself still disliking the taste. Fang Leng arrived under the pretext of delivering her luggage, but she coldly dismissed him, leading to a heated exchange where Fang Leng swore to make her like him again. Meanwhile, Xiao Qi was made aware of a gene matching project in Cape Town through Xiao Bu.

Jiang Shi found Chai Xiao Qi before Fang Leng and locked her up in his house, hoping to change her mind. He reminded her of their childhood bond, but despite his attempts, Chai Xiao Qi remained firm in her decision not to leave with him. Desperate, Jiang Shi resorted to using hormones, absorbing Fang Leng's hormones to show her that her feelings were merely a chemical reaction, not real love.

Jiang Shiyi, desperate to make Chai Xiaoqi return to Jupiter with him, trapped her in his home, setting up a barrier to prevent her from escaping. He tried to convince her that they were genetically matched and should be together. However, Chai Xiaoqi, having learned the truth, still chose to be with Fang Leng, infuriating Jiang Shiyi.

As a child, Fang Leng's reckless behavior led to a tragic car accident in which his mother died while trying to save him. In the aftermath, Fang Leng fainted due to his overwhelming grief and trauma. When he woke up, he had forgotten everything about the incident. In an attempt to shield him from guilt, his father, Fang Shida, decided to lie, fabricating a story about an affair.

Chai Xiao Qi falls asleep without probing any further into Fang Leng’s mysterious behavior. Later, Fang Leng quietly admits that he hadn’t really lost his memory; he was pretending in order to keep her by his side. However, Jiang Shiyi, suspecting that Fang Leng is faking, plans to use her superpowers to force him to regain his memory.

Chai Xiaoqi had been trying everything she could to delay the progress of the hormone research, hoping to extend her time on Earth. But her efforts were all in vain, and she eventually had to accept the inevitable: she would have to leave. With a heavy heart, she started preparing farewell gifts for everyone, including Fang Leng.

Chi Xiaoqi had collected enough hormones for the serum but chose not to signal her home planet, placing her trust in Fang Leng. He researched the hormone formula, and soon enough, the hormone serum was successfully created. Jiang Shiyi, learning of the success, finally revealed his true identity to Chi Xiaoqi and entrusted her with a much more important mission.

Fang Leng confessed his feelings to Chai Xiao Qi, presenting her with a necklace called The Wandering Polar Star. To make her task easier, she agreed to the relationship and posted an official announcement on social media. After returning to the company, Fang Leng began preparing for an experiment and openly shared their new relationship with the team.

Chai Xiao Qi returns to the company and is informed about the technical challenges the hormone perfume project is facing. To resolve the issue, Fang Leng decides to take her on a business trip to meet the hormone expert, Ke Ren. At the same time, Jiang Shi Yi, who has developed feelings for Chai Xiao Qi, is preparing to give up on the mission and confess his true identity to her.

Jiang Shiyi notices Xiao Qi’s sadness, and she admits it’s because she misses home. Deciding to give up on his mission, Jiang Shiyi plans to return her home. However, when they arrive, Jiang Shiyi receives a call from his leader.

Fang Leng, feeling frustrated, practices boxing alone. Jiang Shiyi, to stand up for Xiao Qi, confronts Fang Leng, and the two fight it out. Meanwhile, Xiao Qi arrives at her new workplace and catches sight of Chen Mengfei discussing an advertisement deal with Fang Leng. After Fang Leng leaves, Chen Mengfei mocks Xiao Qi.

Xiao Qi failed to convince Fang Leng, and as a result, Sister Chai decided to take Xiao Qi and Xiao Bu to live in a tea shop warehouse. Wanting to comfort Sister Chai, Xiao Qi invited Dr. Zhang to help. However, after hearing Sister Chai's story about her first love, Dr. Zhang bluntly told her that her first love's abrupt departure was a sign of their breakup.

Jiang Shiyi, determined to cheer up Xiao Qi, gives her some candy and reassures her that she can always rely on him when she’s feeling down, offering to be her friend. Xiao Qi is touched by his kindness and finds his smile strangely familiar. Unbeknownst to her, Jiang Shiyi’s true identity is the next leader of the Cape Town planet.

Fang Leng kissed Xiao Qi, but she immediately pushed him away. He claimed it was a return for her kiss earlier, and playfully asked her to replicate the perfume's scent they'd both encountered before. Xiao Qi tried but failed to reproduce the exact smell. However, when blindfolded, she recognized the scent on Fang Leng's body and concluded.

The narrative follows the intertwined lives of Fang Leng, Xiao Qi, Fang Lie, and Zhou Siqin. Fang Leng takes Xiao Qi on a shopping spree, displaying his affection. Fang Lie's attempts to woo Xiao Bu are comically interrupted by his mother, Zhou Siqin, who also blames Fang Leng for the ensuing chaos. Xiao Qi learns of Fang Leng's annual visit.

Fang Leng is unsettled by Xiao Qi's subtle flirting, as she plays hard to get, leaving him confused. Assistant Han encourages him to take the initiative. Trying to clear the air, Fang Leng attempts to discuss the previous day's events with Xiao Qi, but she purposely ignores him, making him feel more anxious. At a meeting, Fang Leng is surprised when Zhou Dong supports his proposal.

Xiao Qi believes that her plan to establish a research department for Fang Leng was rejected because she offended Zhou Dong's niece, Chen Mengfei. To apologize, she decides to go to Zhou Dong's house and clean for him. By chance, she runs into Fang Leng, who is visiting. While at the house, Zhou Dong and his wife have a quarrel.

Fang Leng and Xiao Qi, after managing a live stream crisis and resolving a makeup issue, grow closer. Their teamwork strengthens their bond, but Zhou Siqin, upset over her failed plans, starts scheming her next move. Back home, they encounter Fang Lie and Xiao Bu, revealing their complicated relationships and adding tension to the group dynamic.

Fang Leng approached Xiao Qi with a belt, tying her up with a blanket. Xiao Qi, determined, secretly untied herself, but as she tried to find Fang Leng again, she was shocked by an electric alarm he had set. Determined to prove herself, Xiao Qi decided to work at Fang Leng’s company, hoping to gain his affection. Fang Leng set strict conditions for her, hoping she would back out.

Fang Leng, by revisiting his memory database, recalls an incident he had forgotten involving a woman, but soon realizes that he had never really forgotten Chai Xiao Qi. Dr. Zhang's analysis leads Fang Leng to believe that Chai Xiao Qi was a woman he had met during a business trip to the United States, which would explain her persistent behavior toward him.

Fang Leng wakes up after recovering, and as a way of thanking Chai Xiaoqi for her care, he prepares breakfast for her. However, he warns her not to develop feelings for him, as he believes their relationship can never go anywhere. Chai Xiaoqi, however, accidentally reveals that she only likes the scent of Fang Leng, which sparks an idea in Fang Leng's mind.

Chai Xiaoqi had always hoped to make Fang Leng fall in love with her using her unique alien ability, the love wave. Unfortunately, the ability didn't work on him. She soon realized that it was because they had once been married, and this somehow made him immune to her powers. As she was thinking about how to make him fall for her.

In order to complete their mission, Chai Xiaoqi and Xiaobu try to get closer to Fang Leng by becoming his neighbors and even rooming with the milk tea shop owner, Chai Jie. They come up with several plans to collect Fang Leng's hormones, believing this is the key to getting closer to him, but each attempt ends in failure.

Chai Xiaoqi, an alien girl, and Fang Leng, the CEO of F Group, were about to get married when suddenly, time froze. A spaceship appeared, capturing them and their companion, Xiao Bu, and transporting them back to Cape Town Star. There, they were informed that their marriage to a human was illegal, violating Cape Town Star's laws.
