While the jury makes a critical round, things get out of hand internally: Kim and Jim report Steffie and Gregor for violating building regulations, and Steffie is out for revenge. After the jury deliberation, a surprising result follows that does not sit well with everyone. The final week is now drawing alarmingly close!

Tonight on Het Blok, the handover of the hall, toilet, and stairs is approaching, creating maximum tension in Crooswijk. Jacky & Menno have barely slept because Jacky is completely overwhelmed by doubt and, according to her, the 'horror staircase' threatens to be the death blow to this handover. The discussion about fairness is also flaring up. Kim & Jim, as well as Jacky & Menno, are increasingly wondering whether everyone is playing under the same conditions, while Marloes and Patrick are actually benefiting from their exemption and trying to catch up on their backlog with the help of their handyman from the provinces.

In Het Blok, the residents struggle with severe sleep deprivation and escalating interpersonal tensions. Amidst the intensive renovations, the arrival of family members provides a rare and valuable bright spot. However, Ray, a strict contractor determined to maintain control, is confronted with growing resistance and even an open rebellion on the work floor. This dynamic creates a tense atmosphere in which cooperation and perseverance are put to the test.

The final stretch in Het Blok is drawing near for the five remaining couples. This week, they must continue with a to-do list to deliver their apartments in perfect condition. However, Kim and Jim have already resigned themselves to the fact that the final deadline will not be met, and Menno, too, has his doubts this time about the feasibility of the to-do list. That is why he would like everyone's permission to interpret the building regulations a bit more broadly, but naturally, this is not to the liking of a number of competitors...

The DIY teams are up to their necks in to-do lists and stress is mounting. Jacky has been battling the stairs for days and is starting to doubt her color choices again. Lotty and Frank go all out for the joint lunch with a hot dog cart. But the atmosphere quickly changes when Ray drops by with an announcement that puts things on edge and even threatens a construction stop. This immediately causes division within the group, with tension between Marloes and Steffie rising further. Meanwhile, Kim and Jim get stuck in their schedule and stumble upon something in the container again that absolutely does not belong there.

The departure of one couple causes a palpable sense of loss for Jacky and Menno, and Kim and Jim. The other camp seems less bothered by it. While the renovation couples continue toiling away at an endless to-do list for the completion of the stairs and the hallway, contractor Ray discovers that someone has thrown asbestos into the container. The atmosphere changes immediately: no one wants to foot the bill for this, because no one has money to spare to help pay for it. Jacky and Menno are pushed to the limit during the endless scraping of the stairwell. Especially when Lotty and Frank seemingly carefree spend their time on coffee breaks, because they both outsourced the stair work, Jacky's frustration runs high and Menno has to endure that constant irritation.

Meanwhile, Sonja and Hendrik's future hangs by a thread; with the support of the Klusbus, they are trying to seize their last chance. Hendrik focuses primarily on maintaining his balance amidst the many challenges coming their way.

The final weeks have arrived. Where seven couples once battled it out, only six remain. Whether that will stay that way remains to be seen, as clarity is forthcoming regarding each couple's budgets. Things do not look rosy for Marloes and Patrick, and Sonja and Hendrik. Fortunately, the participants can earn extra money with the Handyman Van. Kim and Jim receive a visit from their two children.

Due to a lack of time and money, several couples are struggling, and even the construction management loses confidence.

In a few days, the couples have to hand over their living rooms, but first they receive an overview of their finances. This yields anything but good news for Sonja and Hendrik. Bianca and Silvio want to speak with contractor Ray, as they are finding his straightforward way of communicating increasingly difficult. Sonja seeks support from the others to frame competitors Lotty and Frank with a fine.

All kitchens have been delivered, so the Block Residents must ensure the apartments are kitchen-ready. This leads to chaos, stress, and relationship troubles. While some couples are well-prepared, others turn out to have their affairs anything but in order. Things immediately fall apart for several pairs when it turns out that being kitchen-ready involves a bit more than expected. Meanwhile, tensions are rising for some couples. An seemingly lighthearted topic like marriage suddenly leads to surprising revelations and awkward conversations. It turns out Lotty has been married before, and Frank knew nothing about it. The theme of marriage also causes unrest for Steffie and Gregor. And then there is Jim, who causes a costly blunder early on.

Bianca and Silvio pull another all-nighter in the hope of finally delivering, but the question is whether that will be enough. Meanwhile, Lotty and Frank are remarkably relaxed, while Marloes and Patrick try to rectify their earlier mistakes. Not everyone makes it to the finish line, and when the jury offers criticism, all hell breaks loose. The jury comes under heavy fire. Menno is anything but happy with the assessment, and Sonja's emotions run so high that she can't hold back the tears. Bianca and Silvio are letting it all pass them by; they are completely exhausted by now, and Silvio, in particular, realizes that participating in the toughest renovation adventure in the Netherlands might not have been the best idea.

While the plasterers are on their way, the pressure in Het Blok continues to mount. Not every couple is on schedule, and for unlucky Bianca and Silvio, setbacks are piling up now that Silvio has injured his back. Meanwhile, a leak is causing considerable unrest, and the atmosphere at Lotty and Frank's is becoming increasingly grim. Sonja has something to complain about as always, while Marloes and Patrick surprise friend and foe alike with their pace. And during the first joint lunch, intended to bond the group, the differences between them turn out to be greater than expected once again.

After the earlier embarrassingly poor bedroom deliveries, the couples in Het Blok get a final chance to redeem themselves and pocket 2,500 euros. The jury is critical, and the relief is short-lived, as a new assignment for a gender-neutral children's room immediately puts everything back on edge. Sonja transforms into a ruthless container tyrant and even imposes a construction stop, while problems pile up for Marloes and Patrick.
