Now living with Di, Frankie plunges back into her art as she deals with her separation. Lewis has a dangerous relapse. Simone and Julia have a wild night out. Tom has an epiphany after a near miss.
Frankie and Lewis' marriage reaches crisis point when Frankie loses her licence. Dylan dabbles with internet dating sites, while Tom frustrates Billie and his family with his irreverent personal and social antics.

During a Christmas shopping spree, Julia is caught and charged for shoplifting. What a great start to the Christmas season. Frankie decides to go all out for Christmas with everyone coming to Dover Heights for lunch.

She moves out, taking their baby, to stay with her parents.
Julia's birthday gets off to a bad start, then a shopping trip only makes it worse. Frankie has a date with Howard. Tom tries to pull himself together.
Tom's gone off his meds, and as he spirals further and further down into himself, into the place he loves to hate, those that surround him wants the blow-by-blow description of the fall. Meanwhile, Frankie takes on the role of babysitter to little Toby when Julia decides to start working again.
Julia's ex, Howard, is back in town, and this puts her marriage under additional stress. Frankie considers Lou's future. Di relationship with Bill grows, while Tom's relationship with Gina goes in the opposite direction.
Frankie is trying to deal with the humiliation of rejection. Tom is forced to question whether his quest to rehabilitate himself is doomed or not. Charlie and Julia can't decide on a name for their new baby.
Frankie is a mad ball of life. Her substance abusing flatmate Tom doesn't want to know about her dreams, but they're obvious to her workmates at the newspaper. Meanwhile, Charlie and Julia anxiously await the arrival of their baby.
