Some scenes have been completely reshot in this version over the one that aired. For example after John sees his "true love" in the subway station he starts to drink again in this version. Also John never talks with the dead girls mother, where as the aired version had a few scenes with the mother. Over all the episodes are similar but this one tends to portray John as unhappy and upset about being immortal, where as the aired version has a happier spin on things.
