Night Squad

The body of a woman has been placed on a bench in the Bois de Vincennes. The corpse is dressed in luxury clothing but it rapidly becomes obvious that she was naked when killed. She is soon identified as being Marie Guibert, wife of a renowned cardiologist.

The police are called to the scene of a serious traffic accident. Various items found in the vehicle enable them to make a connection with the murder of a young girl for which a down-and-out had been charged and found guilty.

Whilst doing their regular beat, the police officers come across a man of Asian origin, who panics when he sees them. As he flees, he throws away a box containing a woman's finger, recently amputated.

A woman waits for the lift, the doors open and she enters without looking, falling five stories down the lift shaft. The last straw for the residents, tired their ever-deteriorating environment, who demand that those responsible are found. Beneath the machinery cables, the investigators find a hoard of drugs.

During a breaking and entering, a large quantity of drugs is found in a vehicle. The owner of the car collaborates with the police and denounces his dealer, who is caught red-handed. It turns out to be the informer who provided information to Commandant Gimenez, Anne's former boss.

A child is injured in a traffic accident. Hardly unusual, except that the witness's versions are very different. Meanwhile, Anne and Blanche arrest the person who had assaulted a petrol station assistant. And it turns out that the weapon used is the same one with which someone had shot Franklin...

A high school student has been stabbed several times, but there is no hole in his tee-shirt. When he comes round, he refuses to press charges. Was it a racket that ended badly? But during the night, he is attacked again, this time in his hospital room...

Franklin notes a certain number of worrying details in the attitude of the victim, an apparently well-behaved young man who lives with his mother, a recluse that no-one has seen for months.

Neighbours, no longer prepared to put up with the prostitutes working their street, create a committee charged with getting rid of them. The group is led by Edmond Margol, fervent supporter of zero tolerance. One evening, he sets fire to a prostitute's vehicle, whilst she's sleeping in the back.

A police intervention during a hold-up ends badly with a trainee police officer taken hostage. The whole team is hard at work to try to catch the gangsters and free the trainee unharmed...

Leaving the cinema, a child is killed by a hit-and-run driver. Witnesses identify the registration number as being that of a diplomatic vehicle.
