Dr. Hellegren has also found Mera and wants to take her to UBRI where he can study her. Dianne and Winston ask Neri to help with their survey while the others go ashore to find Mera. At the institute, Jason and Vanessa talk to Mera and she promises to go with them if they prove she can trust them.
