Young newlyweds Kate and Dave are really excited, and a bit nervous, about buying a first house together. They want a bright, airy space with parking, a modern kitchen and a bit of character. With a budget that doesn't match the couple's expectations, Drew and Jonathan struggle to sell the potential of a fixer-upper. An unusual source warns Kate and Dave about doing renovations but, nevertheless, they get to work on renovating their new home. When Jonathan finds multiple plumbing issues, the couple's financial plan could get flushed. And as the crew works overtime, Kate and Dave's daily visits and nitpicky questions start to grate on Jonathan.
