Shamshad Begum advises Razia to be patient until Iltutmish gets better. She asks Razia to promise to not hold a sword in her hands. Razia agrees. Mirza is not happy with Razia's promise. He attacks her by surprise. Razia defends herself without taking a sword in her hand. Meanwhile, Rukn-ud-din abducts Fatima's sister from the market for his harem.
