Lin Wanxing and the kids watch the video that Grandpa Lin and Coach Jiang left for them. Lin Wanxing finally musters up the courage to face the shadows of the past and begins investigating.

Wang Fa learns from Yu Bo that there is a new lead in Jason's case in the UK. He departs for the UK right away.

Lin Wanxing realizes that Wang Fa lied about leaving to join Hengjiu and that he must have another reason. She rushes over to stop Wang Fa and successfully catches him before he leaves.

Jason's mother shows up out of the blue to see Wang Fa and airs her grievances to him. Overwhelmed by guilt, Wang Fa ultimately decides to leave Hongjing No. 8 High School.

Together, Lin Wanxing and Wang Fa patiently counsel Qin Ao's father, and his attitude towards Qin Ao gradually softens. The Qin father and son mend their relationship.

Wang Fa has already banished all suspicions about Lin Wanxing. His initial intention for staying at Hongjing No. 8 High School has turned into an attachment to Lin Wanxing and the students. Wang Fa patiently teaches Lin Wanxing how to ride a bike, and something more starts to build between them.

Accompanied by Lin Wanxing and Wang Fa, Fu Xinshu pours his heart out to his mother and finally feels at peace. After dinner, Lin Wanxing and Wang Fa discuss their original aspirations to safeguard the students' growth, deeply resonating with one other.

On the day of the game, Wang Fa doesn't show up. The students and Lin Wanxing are anxious but determined to give their all. Meanwhile, Wang Fa purposely didn't show up in order to foster the students' ability to think independently.

Through his tireless efforts, Fu Xinshu achieves excellent scores in the monthly exam. Wen Chengye acknowledges that he lost the competition and joins the soccer team.

Fu Xinshu once again sincerely invites Wen Chengye to join the soccer team. Wen Chengye proposes that if Fu Xinshu can beat his English score in the next monthly exam, he will agree to join the team.
