Seraph of the End

After successfully clearing a vampire nest and rescuing the humans held captive, Yūichirō's party sets for the human base in Shinjuku, unaware that the vampires are attacking there. Upon arriving, they come across one of the vampire nobles, and find themselves at mercy of his overwhelming power.

Yūichirō and his friends introduced to a new member, Mitsuba Sangū, and are then dispatched for his first mission as part of the Moon Demon Company, but when they spot a little girl in distress, Yūichirō ignores orders and rushes to rescue her, despite being warned that he is just being lured into a trap.

After passing the final test, Yūichirō and his classmate Shihō Kimizuki obtain their own Demon Weapons, but when Yūichirō's friend Yoichi Saotome ends up possessed by his weapon, the duo must find a way to bring him back to his senses without killing him.

Wary of the Human Army's rise to power, Krul calls the vampires to war against them, while Yūichirō and his friends are finally selected to attempt to claim a demon weapon for themselves, despite knowing the risks.

Instead of dying with the rest of his friends, Yūichirō's best friend Mikaela was transformed into a vampire by Krul Tepes, the queen of the vampires and now works as her aide. Meanwhile, Yūichirō finally begins his training to become a member of the Moon Demon Company.

Yūichirō learns that one of his schoolmates was possessed by a demon and decides to confront him not only in order to save him but to make a contract with the demon and obtain his power. However, he soon learns that subduing the demon will not be such an easy feat.

Four years after escaping, Yūichirō is part of the Japanese Army and is eager to become a member of their special vampire hunting force, the Moon Demon Company, but his reckless behavior leads him to be suspended, until a vampire attacks the local school prompting him to face the enemy against orders.

An epidemic of unknown origin strikes mankind, killing all adults and rendering the youngsters at the mercy of the vampire kind. Four years later, Yūichirō Hyakuya and his friends make a daring attempt to escape from the vampires, unaware that a mortal trap awaits them.

A mysterious vampire named Shahal kidnaps a human girl named Riko. Shahal's true goal is unknown, and while he has kidnapped Riko, he refuses to drink her blood. Suddenly, he receives a visit from the vampire nobles Ferid and Crowley. Meanwhile, Guren tasks Shinoa Squad with rescuing Riko and returning her to her family. A lifetime of tragedy - virus attack, captivation by vampires, failed escape plan, and deaths of his family - pushes Yu to live for revenge. However, the tragedy continues as he finds out that the vampires have turned Mikaela into one of them. Recap of the first cour of "Owari no Seraph".

The Shinoa Squad is at school, and Guren is teaching them a lesson.

Every time Guren tries to exit or leave, somehow he ends up back in the same room. This repeats multiple times.

Mitsuba tries attacking Yu with several surprise moves — kicks, tickles, and other unexpected attacks. Yu tries to parry them. He struggles to keep up.

Kimizuki is tasked with driving the squad, but he takes a wrong turn. They end up at the Saigo Takamori Statue in Ueno.

They go to a library, where they find a book of secrets. They use a bitter‑tasting truth serum. As a side effect, Kimizuki and Yūichirō start behaving like dogs. They chase Yoichi around, and then fight each other.

Shinoa and Yoichi initiate a “hand‑slap game” with Yu. A hand‑slap or slap‑tag‑type game, where Yu keeps losing each round.

In this episode, young Yūichirō and young Mika are having a moment in Sanguinem. Yūichirō asks Mika what’s on his mind. After some hesitation, Mika admits that he thinks he has more charm as a main character.

Shinoa gives Yuichirō his “heart’s desire” (or makes him pick a desired reward) — comically over the top choices. Among the items are things like silver and golden axes, and also Shinoa merchandise. Yuichirō is shown reacting/choosing one, in a humorous way.

The setup is simple: Shinoa, Yoichi, and Yuichirō are in a classroom or school environment. Shinoa plays a bit of mischief by giving Yuichirō a list of commands (e.g. "look at this", "turn there", etc.), via notes.
