Anna and Alex are getting mad at the renovation chaos at home and when Jonas suggests that they go into therapy they realize that it is not such a stupid suggestion. Fredde is forced, against his will, to drive Anette to her job every day and Ove begins to question Fredde's intentions with his wife.

When Fredde tells Alex about a male phenomenon called The Switch, Alex begins to think very much about how it stands with the length of his purse. At the same time, he and Anna should choose a kindergarten for Vilma and find out that there is a lot to decide on.

Alex and Anna have craftsmen at home and are forced to live with Alex's mother Margareta over the weekend. Margareta reveals that she met a new man, Tord Malmberg, the disgusting neighbor from childhood. Alex now has to deal with the mother's new love with everything it means.

Alex gets good advice on how important it is with the view of his neighbor and childhood friend Fredde.
