The Day Henry Met

Henry meets a gold panning pan next to a creek. Pan would love to find gold but lately all he has found is "sand, sand, sand" Just once he would love to "hit pay dirt" and find some gold.

Today Henry meets a cookbook. Cookbook is full of hundreds of delicious recipes but he is stuck on the book shelf with no chef around to cook the meals.

Henry meets an old dusty brass lamp in an antiques shop. Lamp wants to be a magic lamp and grant people wishes but he isn't magic like the lamps in the stories, if only there was a genie around to help.

Henry goes to a sweet shop to buy a box of chocolates for his mother. There he meets a box of chocolates. It turns out box of chocolates' chocolates were so tasty that someone has eaten them all.

Henry meets a compass in a nautical history museum. Compass never got the chance to discover a new and exciting land because his ship was swallowed by a whale on it's maiden voyage and he was all that was washed up on the beach.

Henry meets a worker bee, outside its hive in a wildlife park. Bee needs to get lots and lots of honey ready for when the queen bee arrives on her annual honey inspection but all the other worker bees have buzzed off.

Today Henry meets a hot air balloon at a summery country fair. Hot air balloon is tired of just going up and down all day and dreams of participating in a balloon race around the world that ends in Central Park, New York.

Henry meets a trophy in trophy shop. Henry asks why trophy isn't in the trophy cabinet with all his friends, it turns out he is a trophy for the "Best Gymnast in the Whole Entire Universe".

Henry goes into the bathroom to wash his hands and meets a sink. Tap offers to wash Henry's hands but no water comes out of his spout. Oh no. If only there was a plumber around to help.

Today Henry meets a pair of ballet shoes at a dance rehearsal class. It's the night before the big ballet show and ballet shoes are practicing their newest most amazing dance moves.

Henry meets an old retro arcade machine in a seaside arcade. Players are in short supply as no one wants to play an old retro arcade game like him anymore.

Henry becomes a crossing guard and helps all the kiddies across the road in time for school.

Today Henry meets an old elephant at a safari park. Elephant teaches Henry about his family tree and that his great, great, great, great grandfather was a woolly mammoth and would have loved to have met him.

Henry meets a cactus in a garden centre. Cactus' grandfather used to be a sheriff in the Wild West and always dreamt of following in his footsteps.

Today Henry meets a Border Collie sheep dog and learns what a sheep dog does and why shepherds use them. Oh no, the sheep pen has been left open by accident and all the sheep have escaped.

Henry meets a baseball bat in a sports shop but baseball Bat has never played in a championship game before and wishes to hit the ball out of the park.

Henry meets a submarine dry docked at the harbour. Submarine wants to become a famous explorer and find the lost city of Atlantis but he hasn't got a submariner captain.

Henry meets a helicopter in a hanger at an airshow but helicopter is a little bored of flying people around the airfield. He's always wanted to be a rescue helicopter and help people in need.

Henry meets a BMX in a bike shop. BMX loves doing tricks for all the other bicycles in the bike shop but she has always dreamt of competing in the tour de France like the proper racing bikes, who tease her for doing childish tricks.

Henry meets a surfboard stuck upright in the sand at the beach. Surfboard has always wanted to surf the "Super Duper Giant Wave of Doom" which no one has ever surfed before.

Henry is on holiday in London and meets a red bus. Bus has lots of tourists arriving for a tour of London but his bus driver has gotten stuck in traffic.

Today Henry meets a bowtie from a tuxedo suit. Bowtie is sick of going to weddings and getting gravy stains down him all the time and dreams of the exciting glamorous life of a secret agent.

Today Henry meets a blank canvas. Canvas is going to be exhibited in an art show but she is completely blank. Henry becomes a painter but he spills the paint over all over the canvas, but the judges love his work and declare it a masterpiece.

Today Henry meets a horse in an old barn. It's the day of the big equestrian games but a very disappointed horse doesn't have a rider so he can't compete in the games. Henry becomes a show jumper and helps horse win the top prize.

Today Henry meets a sponge as it cleans his bedroom window. He is accompanied by a bucket who hates getting wet. Sponge has a street full of houses to get clean ready for the big street carnival. Henry becomes a window cleaner and helps save the day.

Today Henry meets a fir tree in a snowy field, he is super excited as it's nearly Christmas. Fir tree dreams of one day being the sparkly, decorated Christmas tree in the centre of town. Henry becomes a Christmas elf and helps tree realise his dream.

Today Henry meets dustbin, recycle bin, and compost bin. All the dustbins on Henry's street have been put out for the dustbin man to pick up but it's his day off. Henry becomes a waste collector and helps collect all the rubbish in his dustbin lorry.

Today Henry meets a sleepy bear in the woods. It's almost winter so it's time for bear to hibernate but he's having trouble falling asleep. So Henry becomes a park ranger and reads him a bed time story that sends him off to sleep.

Today Henry meets a camera. Camera is down in the dumps because he thinks his photographs are boring and he wants to photograph something no one else has.

Today Henry meets a friendly violin in the foyer of a concert hall. All the instruments are excited for the big show but the conductor is nowhere to be found. Henry becomes a conductor and helps them put on a big orchestral performance.

Today Henry meets a colourful rainbow. Rainbow tells Henry about the pot of gold at the end of her rainbow but only a Leprechaun can find it.

Today Henry meets a friendly toothbrush in the bathroom. Henry's first tooth falls out and he can't wait until the tooth fairy comes. But the tooth fairy ate sweets and has a toothache.

Today is Henry's very first day of school, he meets an apple sitting on the teacher's desk. But oh no, the teacher isn't feeling well, so Henry decides to step in as a substitute teacher.

Today Henry meets a cauldron in his house. Cauldron wishes just once he could be a magic cauldron that makes spells instead of just carrying sweets.

Today Henry meets a head of broccoli who has been left in charge of the shop while the grocer is away and he has to put all the stock out on the shelves. Henry becomes a greengrocer and helps get the shelves stocked just in time for the shop opening.

Today Henry meets a skateboard where there is an extreme sports competition on. Skateboard is eager to take part but his skater slipped and grazed his knee.

Today Henry meets an old tennis racket. Tennis racket has always dreamed of playing in a real tennis championship match. Henry will become a Tennis player. Tennis racket teaches Henry all the rules of the game and Henry helps win the match.

Today Henry meets a giant observatory telescope. Telescope has just discovered a new constellation. The trouble is he didn't write down the co-ordinates. Henry becomes an astronomer and helps telescope track down the constellation.

Today Henry meets a old tow truck who has always dreamed of being in a monster truck race but he has never been able to compete because he has small wheels. Henry becomes a mechanic and rebuilds him into a monster truck so he can enter the race.

Today Henry meets a dinosaur bone and it tells about the museums most prized exhibit a fossilised T.Rex egg but in his excitement he knocks it over and smashes it.

Today Henry meets an ice cream van on the hottest day of the year. Everyone needs some ice cream but the ice cream man is on his lunch break.

Today Henry meets a golf ball on a crazy golf course. Golf ball has always lived on the crazy golf course but he desperately wants to become a golf pro. Henry has a great idea and becomes a golfer and helps golf ball achieve his goal.

Today Henry meets a comic book in the comic book store and it tries to tells his story to Henry but his last few pages are missing. Comic book doesn't know how his story ends.

Today Henry meets left sock, he's very excited but his best friend right sock has gone missing. Henry follows the clues to find right sock who wasn't missing after all she was off planning a lovely secret surprise party for Best Friends Day.

Henry meets the Moon. He learns all about space, astronauts and even that the Moon loves cheese and crackers. Henry becomes an Astronaut for the day, blasts off into space, meets a satellite and dodges meteors before having a lovely picnic on the Moon.

Henry meets a friendly Birthday Cake. He is getting ready to be collected from the bakers when they realize he isn't going to be big enough for all the people at the party. Henry becomes a Baker for the day, he mixes, whisks and bakes away until he creates the best birthday cake ever.

Henry meets a friendly Gorilla. He's moved from the Jungle to the wildlife park for some peace and quiet but his next door neighbour, Tiger, is keeping him up all night. He's feeling a little under the weather so Henry becomes a Vet for the day to help him feel better.

Henry meets a friendly Mountain. He has a nasty itch that he just can't scratch and it's up to Henry to save the day. Henry becomes a Mountain Climber for the day, meets a mountain goat, falls through a rickety bridge and rides on a rescue helicopter before making it to the top and scratching Mountain's itch.

Henry meets a friendly Daffodil. He is getting ready to welcome some new plants to the garden when they arrive a day early. Henry becomes a Gardener for the day, digs some holes, plants some plants and even has to negotiate with a sleepy rain cloud to save the garden.

Henry meets a friendly Digger. There is a house that needs to be built but with the builder off work with a tummy ache it's up to Henry to save the day. Henry becomes a Builder for the day, he scoops, saws and paints away until the house is finished. Even if it turns out a little wonky.

Henry meets a friendly Fire Engine. It's his first day on the job and he's a little nervous when a call comes in about a cat stuck up a tree. Henry becomes a Fireman for the day and with help from a few friends, he helps Fire Engine rescue the Cat from the tree.

Henry meets a friendly Rabbit. Rabbit used to be a magicians assistant but never finished her final performance. Henry becomes a Magician for the day, things go a little wrong but the performance works out for the best in the end.

Henry meets a friendly Cow and learns all about where milk comes from. Unfortunately the gate to the cow field has been left open and all the Cows have wandered off during the night. Henry becomes a Cowboy for the day, meets a crazy scarecrow and helps round up the lost herd in time for the Big Barn Dance.

Henry meets a friendly old Racing Car. Henry learns about engines and finds out that Racing Car has never actually finished a race. Henry becomes a Racing Driver for the day, he races around the track, meets a breakdown truck and even manages to help Race Car finish his first race.

Henry meets a friendly Lighthouse. Lighthouse needs to light the way for a small boat as it heads towards the shore but his bulb has gone. Henry becomes a Lighthouse Keeper for the day and after climbing hundreds of steps, carrying a massive bulb he finally saves the day.

Henry meets a friendly Rooster. Rooster needs to wake up the farmer so he can feed the animals but he has a sore throat and can't crow. Henry becomes a Farmer for the day and helps feed all the animals and even helps cure Rooster's sore throat.

Henry meets a friendly Whale. Henry learns all about how whales breath underwater but unfortunately Whale has lost her glasses. Henry becomes a Deep Sea Diver for the day and has an amazing adventure with all the creatures of the sea before finding Whale's glasses.

Henry meets a friendly Train. He needs to take his carriages full of animals back to the ranch but the Train Driver got off at the wrong stop and he needs Henry's help. Henry becomes a Train Driver for the day, meets a cactus and jumps a ravine on his journey back to the ranch.

Henry meets a friendly Balloon. He's preparing for the big circus show but the clown has gone missing. Henry becomes a Clown for the day, bounces on a trampoline, is fired from a cannon and throws custard pies as he helps save the show.

Henry meets a friendly Panda. She is preparing for a visit from her cousin but when she arrives it's obvious there has been a mix up in the Zoo. Henry becomes a Zoo Keeper for the day and meets all sorts of animals of all shapes and sizes while searching for Panda's cousin.

Henry meets a friendly Letter as he prepares for his first trip out into the big wild world. Unfortunately he has missed the postman so it falls on Henry to save the day. Henry becomes a Postman , he meets a corner shop, scares a hedgehog and gets lost in the sorting office before finally delivering Letter on time.

Henry meets a friendly Life Boat. Henry learns all about Life Boats as they chat on the beach but unfortunately there is a Donkey stuck out at sea in need of rescue . Henry becomes a Life Guard for the day, races across the waves, meets an Ocean Liner before rescuing Donkey and his favorite coconut drink.

Henry meets an old Grandfather Clock waiting by the side of the road. He is moving house today but unfortunately the delivery truck has left without him. Henry becomes a Delivery man for the day, helps Clock get to his house warming party on time and even makes a few new friends on the way.

Henry meets a friendly Egyptian Statue in a museum. The Ancient Blue Diamond, center piece of the museum, has gone missing and it's up to Statue and Henry to find it. Henry becomes an Archeologist for the day, goes on a crazy adventure in underground caves, gets chased by a boulder and bouncing on crocodiles before returning the Diamond to it's rightful place.

Henry meets a friendly Aeroplane. He's had a busy day flying around the world but he finds out he still has one last delivery to make. Henry becomes a Pilot for the day, plays "I spy", flies through a giant storm and helps Aeroplane deliver his package on time.

Henry meets a friendly Microscope. He has just discovered the cure for smelly burps but when the that cure is lost in an accident it's up to Henry to save the day. Henry becomes a Scientist for the day and after many experiments and a few side effects he winds up recreating the cure once again.

Henry meets a friendly Guitar. Guitar and the band want to put on one last show before they retire but they don't have a singer. Henry becomes a Singer for the day and with help from the rest of the band he performs a showstopping gig in front of a sellout crowd.

Henry meets a friendly Parrot. It turns out that Parrot has been left a secret treasure map by his great grandfather and with Henry's help they decide to go and find it. Henry becomes a Pirate for the day, sails the high seas and encounters a sea monster before unearthing the pirate treasure.

Henry meets a friendly Shield. Shield tells Henry about a missing Sword kidnapped by a ferocious Dragon. Henry becomes a Knight for the day and with the help of his faithful steed and a little luck, he manages to rescue the missing Sword in the neck of time.

Henry meets a friendly Football. She is super excited about everything, especially when they meet two Football Boots wanting a football match.
