Chet heads to East Texas to experience its history and beauty. He dines at a New Orleans inspired bistro and partakes in a 40-year-old country buffet tradition. He hikes through the piney woods and visits an abandoned sawmill.

Chet explores a town in the midst of DFW. He eats at a butcher shop making delicious bison burgers and takes a trail ride across the TV-famous Southfork Ranch. He swings through the trees on an urban ropes course and stuffs himself at a modern food-court before finishing the day trying a new sport - fowling.

Just north of San Antonio, Chet finds a scratch-bakery making delectable breakfast items. He partakes in some traditional 9-pin bowling, paddles the Guadalupe River, and visits a distillery before eating a PB-J Burger.

Chet explores Texas Polish Country by traveling around Karnes County. He visits Panna Maria, the oldest Polish settlement in America and gets educated at their state-of-the-art Heritage Center. He eats authentic Polish sausage at Pollok’s Market in Falls City and mesquite-fired steak in Kennedy. He also experiments with Kool-Aid Pickles on a snow cone.

Chet visits a town made famous by "Old Rip" the horny toad who lived 31 years trapped in the courthouse wall. He eats at a local meat market and beloved Tex-Mex establishment. He hikes the spooky ruins of an abandoned zoo, learns about the "Santa Clause Killer," and visits the first Hilton hotel.

Chet visits the birthplace of US President Eisenhower and explores its expansive Main Street. He learns about the man who saved the European wine industry and visits a local distillery making Cognac in his honor. He swims in Lake Texoma and fills his belly with country catfish.

Chet visits the ruins of an abandoned Spanish Fort and the US's Fort McKavett to learn about the battle for the frontier. He swims in the San Saba River and fuels up at a local bakery run by three teenage sisters.

Chet heads west of Waco to dine at a Texas-sized buffet including homemade pie. He explores Mother Neff, the first state park in Texas, and creates his own cupcake at a local bakery. He goes junking at a famous antique store and heads to Blue Hills Ranch to swim with otters and dine with giraffes.

Chet visits a town centered between two of Texas's largest cities. He tastes the BBQ and jerky at Woody's Smokehouse and learns the local history of Leon County. He fishes at a state park and picks ripe blackberries. He ends the day with a Texas-sized steak served in a backroads general store.

Chet heads to the top of the panhandle! He walks over the Canadian River bridge and tours the town's odd art displays. He roasts coffee and eats at the famed Cattle Exchange restaurant. He also finds thrills and target practice with a helicopter pilot known for training Navy SEALS.

Chet eats at the legendary City Market BBQ joint with famed pit boss Ms. Tootsie. He explores the area's Wendish history. He samples whiskey at a train depot distillery, mountain bikes on the famous WARDA trails, and ends the day at a brewpub serving German-inspired pizza.

Chet travels to the northern reaches of what used to be Texas from 1836-1850. He hikes to the top of Mt. Princeton and swims in its hot springs. He whitewater rafts the mighty Arkansas River and gets a true taste of the Rockies.

The "Pie Capital of Texas" is a slice of heaven. Chet starts with pie for breakfast and finishes with Frito pie for dinner. He plays disc golf at the strangest course in Texas, swims in the Blanco River, and learns the history of this railroad town.

Chet explores the traditions and establishments that truly make the Bayou City what it is. From its 75-year old Famers Market to its wacky Art Car Parade to its beloved Pappas Bros Steakhouse, we explore the iconic parts of H-town.

Chet visits this little town on the Guadalupe River that’s home to Gruene Hall, the “oldest dance hall in Texas,” and so much more. He eats a historic chicken-fried steak at the Gristmill, explores the town, and goes fly fishing on the river. Turns out “Gruene” is the true color of Texas.

Chet heads to the suburb town that stuck in Austin’s shadow to showcase its many hidden treasures. He eats artisan BBQ sandwiches and Ethiopian food. He tries his hand at BMX racing. And visits an award-winning distillery located in an metal shed.

Chet heads to East Texas where he visits a town named after the hero of the Alamo. He visits the springs where Davy drank and explores the National Forest named in his honor. He strolls the Spanish “El Camino Real” and stands in awe of ancient Indian mounds.

Chet explores one of Texas’s most beautiful and primitive parks. He hikes to scenic overlooks, dives to the bottom of caves, swims in the spring-fed pools, and fishes the flowing river. Finish it up with BBQ at a local general store and it’s a great trip.

Chet explores the settlement where Stephen F. Austin laid the foundation for modern Texas. He eats at a local meat market making over a dozen types of sausage, interviews a baker who lives in a stone castle, and learns the art of blacksmithing with a local “cowboy.”

Chet heads to the “Cowboy Capital of the World” for horseback riding, a massive chicken-fried steak and a cowboy shoot out.

Chet trips through the “Tomato Capital of the World” for a bushel and a peck of fun! He watches baskets get made at the Texas Basket Company, gets down and dirty on an ATV and has some good eats along the way!

Chet goes junkin’ in Round Top, where he finds plenty of antiques, eats one of Texas’s most famous pies and visits a jaw-dropping concert venue.

Chet heads out west to the Big Country to see what’s slithering down at the rodeo grounds…and what he finds is a TON of rattlesnakes at the Sweetwater Rattlesnake Roundup. He tries his hand at hunting and milking the rattlers, and even munches on deep fried rattlesnake! He also learns about the important work of the World War II WASPs and chows on some delicious BBQ.

Because it’s one of the largest cities in America, many folks know about Houston, but Chet takes viewers off the beaten path to explore its hidden side. He goes underground into an ancient cistern, visits the wild art side of the city, sees the ship channel and finds authentic eats inside Houston’s Indian district.

Chet gets wet on a lake just outside of Austin, exploring everything from its swimming areas to its restaurants. He tries his hand at wake surfing and then dines at the Oasis which is known as the "Sunset Capital of Texas."

Chet explores a small town that's known as the home of "Billy the Kid. " He uncovers the story of whether or not Billy died in New Mexico or made it to TX to live to his old age. He rock climbs inside some renovated grain silos, and visits a chocolatier that making some of the most amazing truffles on the planet.

Chet heads down the Texas coast to the North Padre Island National Seashore. He experiences a sea turtle release, and then heads down the longest undeveloped barrier island in the world fish, swim and camp on its shores.

Chet kicks off the season throwing a dart at a map and proving that no matter where it lands in Texas, there’s always something to do. In Belton’s historic downtown, he visits their heritage museum, eats some excellent BBQ, and stops off at the oldest department store in Texas. Throw in some mountain biking and dinner at a renovated cotton gin and that’s a day trip.

Chet heads to the coast to learn how to surf the waves and shell the shore. He dines on local seafood and learns the boating history that brought FDR to this coastal hideaway.

Chet travels to a town that’s full of fossils where he walks in the shadows of fake dinosaurs at an amusement park and stands in their real footprints at a state park. He then explores a museum about the beginning of civilization and goes wild on a safari.

Chet explores this East Texas town’s history at the old high school and searches for a hidden waterfall at the local park. He then learns about giant balloons at a NASA facility and hunts for hogs in the dark woods.

Chet visits this town in South Texas to “remember the Alamo” and pay his respects to the Texas heroes’ hidden grave. He explores the largest Mexican market and a museum of curiosities, floats along the Riverwalk and dines on iconic Tex-Mex.

Chet tours this German community with stops along Main Street for “fickle” pickles and milkshakes at an vintage drive in. He goes underground at a cave without a name, hikes through a nature center along Cibolo Creek and then joins a shooting club in operation since 1864.

Chet visits a town in the piney woods known for designing the famous “Lone Star” flag. He tours a wolf sanctuary, eats meatloaf in the historic district and then goes “fly boarding” on beautiful Lake Conroe.

In a town that epitomize Texas Bar-B-Q, Chet interviews 3 different pit masters, each with their own spin on Texas ‘que. He visits a museum dedicated to the governor who defeated the KKK in Texas and goes fishing on the best “crappie” lake in the state.

After a night backpacking to the South Rim, Chet wakes up to head back to the basin. After summiting Emory Peak (the tallest point in the park),Chet and crew head to Terlingua, where they explore the town’s old mining culture, eat at an old theater and celebrate at the historic “La Kiva” bar.

Chet heads to West Texas to explore one of the most beautiful and most remote national parks in the U.S. From desert hikes to balanced rocks to jaw-dropping mountain hikes with 100-mile views.

Chet heads to “Big D” to explore all that’s happening He views town from the top of Reunion Tower and visits the Perot Science Museum. In Deep Ellum, Chet eats authentic Texas BBQ, and in the Bishop Arts District he shops at “Mantiques” and visits an experimenting chocolatier. He takes a bike ride on the urban trails along the Trinity River, then polishes off the day serving chicken biscuits.

Chet dives into town’s wild west history with stops at Fort Concho and a brothel museum. He eats donut sandwiches and stuffed avocadoes, along with mountain biking the scrubby landscape and looking for fresh water pearls dug from a local river.

Chet goes fishing on Lake Fork, one of the most-famous big bass lakes in Texas. He visits a historic square with a see-through public restroom and then explores a museum dedicated to the dairy business.

Chet heads to the desert to go swimming and SCUBA diving in a spring-fed pool. He eats homemade gas-station burritos and authentic West-Texas tacos. Finally, he goes rock hunting for some of the area’s famous blue agate.

Chet joins the “snowbirds” and heads to the Texas coast in the winter time to see some of the only remaining wild whooping cranes. He indulges in the coast’s amazing oysters and seafood then visits “Stinky Beach” and sees one of the largest and oldest live oak trees in Texas.

Chet heads to the “Lavender Capital,” harvesting it from the field and drinking it in lemonade. He explores the historic courthouse used in the movie “True Grit” and a buggy museum that’s supplied Hollywood with all its western needs for years. He visits a brewery, eats BBQ, swims in the Blanco River and plays traditional 9-pin bowling with Blanco’s German residents.

Chet visits “The Big Bend” of Texas with stops to learn its history and climb to a mountaintop classroom. He eats at a steakhouse inspired by the movie “Giant” and devours hot dogs from a truck that takes wienies to a whole other universe.

Chet finds heaps of history, including the alleged grave of Jesse James and the story of John Wilkes Booth hiding out here after his assassination of the president. He visits a Trappist-style cheesemaker, a sandy beach in the middle of town and eats fish tacos beside a lake-front marina.

Chet explores the east side of Texas’s capital city exploring its food trucks, a modern butcher shop, and a house museum that “Keeps Austin Weird.” He visit the Texas State Cemetery with the graves of past Texans including “Father of Texas” Stephen F. Austin, and then pushes his lack of athleticism to the extreme on an obstacle course.

Chet heads to the “Sports Capital of Texas.” He eats a Texas-sized donut, takes a beekeeping class from Round Rock Honey and then explores the history of town on Hairy Man Road and Main Street, where outlaw Sam Bass faced his final shootout. He finishes up the day cheering for the home AAA baseball team, the Round Rock Express.

Chet heads to the home of the King Ranch covering approximately 1,300 square miles of South Texas. He explores downtown Kingsville eating at an old pharmacy and soda fountain, then heads to the King Ranch for a history and birding tour of the sprawling South Texas prairie. To polish off the day, Chet dines at the historic King’s Inn seafood restaurant.

Chet heads to the San Jacinto Battlefield where Texas won its independence. He experiences the renaissance of Baytown’s historic district including visits to a coffee bar and an artist painting every fallen soldier from the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. After enjoying some southern soul food, Chet explores the brackish waters of the bay and visits Battleship Texas, which fought in both World Wars.

Chet heads to East Texas to the town that invented the hamburger. He visits the Texas Freshwater Fishery Center holding multiple state record fish and placing over a million large mouth bass into Texas water every year. He finishes off the day zip lining through the pines and eating the tastiest pizza in town.

Chet heads to Grapevine, the “Christmas Capital of Texas” to catch the spirit of the season. He visits main street to eat at a French bakery, tours a winery, sees amazing sculptures of ice at the Gaylord Texan and finishes it off on the historic railroad bound for the North Pole.

Chet heads to Port Lavaca on Matagorda Bay to dive into its coastal food and lifestyle. He goes fishing in the bay waters, bikes to a historic cast-iron lighthouse and explores the lost port city of Indianola where French explorer La Salle first set foot in Texas.

Chet heads to Lubbock and explores the Texas High Plains. After a trip through Texas Tech University and its traditions, Chet eats fried cheese and calzones at a few local hangouts, and then dives into history at the Buddy Holly Center and the world-class archeology site Lubbock Lake Landmark.

Chet heads to the Marble Falls to explore its art, adventure and cuisine. He visits the Pogue Foundry to learn about bronze sculptures, peers into historic “Dead Man’s Hole” and then pushes his adrenaline levels on an ATV, a stand-up paddleboard and a hang glider. Along the way he finds time for smoked fajitas, a brew-pub bison burger and pie happy hour.

Chet heads to the State Fair of Texas to explore its history, excitement and food. He hangs out with Big Tex (the fair’s 55-foot tall mascot), sees some prize-winning steers and ostrich races in the Livestock Exhibit, and explores the park’s diverse fried food, including fried butter, fried thanksgiving dinner and the original “Corny Dog.”

A visit to Arlington, Texas, stops in the home of the Dallas Cowboys, AT&T Stadium; the International Bowling Hall of Fame; River Legacy Park; J. Gilligan's Bar & Grill; and Mariano's Mexican Restaurant, which is the birthplace of the frozen margarita machine. Also: a Texas Rangers game.

Spooky destinations are spotlighted, including the Grove in Jefferson; Presidio La Bahia in Goliad; and San Antonio's "ghost tracks."

Chet travels to the "Bayou City" to hop amongst its neighborhoods. He starts with an Asian market and dim sum in Houston's Chinatown, follows it up with dinosaurs and parks in the Museum District, and finishes up in Houston's Montrose area, full of art, culture, and delicious food.

Chet heads to San Marcos to explore its river by boat, kayak, and tube, with stops at Paper Bear, Rhea’s Ice Cream, Texas State University, and much more.

Chet goes on the "best little day trip in Texas" to paddle the Colorado River, explore Texas Czech culture, eat at a 100 year old BBQ joint, and enjoy some kolaches from Hruska's.

Chet heads to the “Cowboy Capital of the World”, visits Dublin Bottling Works, sees some barrel racing at Lone Star Arena and polishes it off with chicken fried steak.

Chet heads to Bay Area Houston to visit NASA, eat a hoagie and fried shrimp, go birding on Armand Bayou and visit the Kemah Boardwalk.

Chet heads south to spend the day on island time. He hits the sand with a hands-on sand castle lesson from a local artist, takes a snorkeling expedition, visits the sea turtles at the local rescue center and indulges in the edible side of the island.

Chet heads to Goliad to visit the location of the famous Goliad Massacre, take a canoe ride, and eat some award winning soup and delicious Tex Mex.

Chet travels to Spicewood to sip some coffee, swim in Krause Springs, go ziplining through the trees, and eat some delicious BBQ.

Chet heads to Smithville! He bikes from Bastrop State Park to Buescher State Park, he eats some BBQ, visits a famous paper doll artist, and travels to an Automotive History Museum.

Chet heads to Huntsville to explore the history of Texas Founder Sam Houston, visit the Texas Prison Museum, and go SCUBA diving in the piney woods.
