After a couple of failed attempts to get the car started, Janet was hit by a bright light. Bright enough that she had to shield her eyes. The light was coming from an apartment building. Janet thought maybe someone was shooting a movie. Not unusual in New York City. Then she saw that the light was coming from a saucer-shaped craft hovering *above* the building.
