Tell Me When / If I'm Here Tonight

When Laura returns from her business trip, she finds no one at home to welcome her. The newly minted writer realizes she may be neglecting her family and decides to put her career aside to devote more time to her children and Paolo, but Clelia warns her that some opportunities only come once in a lifetime.

Laura must leave again to meet with a French publisher and doesn't know how to tell Paolo, who, meanwhile, is having serious trouble with his nursery. His partner, partly out of guilt and partly to show him her support, decides to invest part of the book's proceeds in the tranquility of a greenhouse. Michele appears to Monica in a dream and reveals that a man is about to enter her life.
