Drawn to the appeal of a slowly paced life in the Japanese countryside, some foreigners have settled down in the region. We follow Spanish photographer Tina Bagué as she captures images of fellow non-Japanese who moved to Miyama - an American yoga master, a French organic farmer and a German shakuhachi player. We also visit Beppu in Oita Prefecture to meet Ukrainian Denys Kralikauskas who makes and mends tatami mats.
