What exactly makes a family in today’s often complex world? Is there such a thing a ‘normal’ family anymore? And why on earth would anyone share their home with a 2000lb bison? These are just some of the questions we ask in this new inspiring and uplifting series. Each episode features three unique families from around the world who live their lives in a less than conventional way! They all shun ‘the norm’ but at the same time they all share one common characteristic they are all happy, proud and want to share their positivity (and eccentricity) with the world.

Summary

In this episode, we meet New Yorker Marilyn Mansfield and her family – a family that includes a husband, 2 kids and over 500 dolls! Marilyn talks us through her unusual collection before we head out for pizza and introduce her life like baby dolls to unsuspecting diners! We also get to meet the Mintram family in the UK, whose love of animals has ended up with the buying and running their own zoo. And finally we head back across the Atlantic to meet RC and Sherron Bridges and their 2000lb houseguest – a bison called Wild Thing!
