Sakamichi Onoda is an otaku who just wants to find more people to join the recently disbanded anime club with him. However, when a couple cyclists spy his skill in riding the bulky mamachari bike he's had since youth, they attempt to convince him to join the bicycle racing club instead. An OVA bundled with the 29th volume of the comic book.

Onoda Sakamichi, a diehard anime fan, bikes 90 kilometers to and from Akiba to buy anime goods. Enrolled at Chiba Sohoku Public High School, he plans to join the anime club, hoping to make friends.

Imaizumi challenges Sakamichi to a race up the school's steep rear gate slope. To spice up the competition, Imaizumi agrees to join the anime club if he loses. Sakamichi gives it his all, hoping to reform the club.

The race between Sakamichi and Imaizumi continues. Imaizumi has passed Sakamichi, but thanks to a seat adjustment from Miki, Sakamichi has more power than ever before.

There are 4 kilometers remaining to the finish line of the Inter-high's second day. Riding in the lead are Hakone Academy, Kyoto Fushimi, and Sohoku High, whose members were united through Sakamichi's efforts.

Just before the second day's finish line as three schools compete for the lead, ace assistant Imaizumi aims to propel his ace ahead of the pack after the sharp turn.

Midousuji's unexpected solo attack before the sharp turn leaves him riding in the lead alone just before the finish line. However, Kinjou and Fukutomi place their team's hopes on their backs and exceed their limits to catch up to Midousuji.

The Sohoku High School Bicycle Racing Club has concluded their fierce battle at the Inter-High. First year Onoda Sakamichi and his classmates Imaizumi and Naruko switch to new bikes and are preparing for new battles on a team without the third-years. Sohoku's new captain Teshima and his friend Aoyagi also begin working towards a second consecutive championship. As they prepare, Sakamichi's idol Makishima has some words for him...

Onoda is unable to recover from the shock of Makishima leaving the club to the go England before graduation. Meanwhile, in order to reclaim their crown, Hakone Academy's new team also begins preparing. Among them is a new team member...

Sohoku's Onoda, Imaizumi, and Teshima participate in the fall Minegayama Hill Climb. Onoda is unable to pull himself out of his slump, he is overcome with uncertainty. Meanwhile, Hakone Academy has sent their second-year Ashikiba Takuto. As Ashikiba overwhelms the other riders with his "Metronome Dancing" that makes use of his towering 202 centimeters, Sohoku's new captain Teshima takes him on with his soulful riding!

It's day one of the Tochigi Inter-high. Hakone Academy's Doubashi takes the first result, and Hakone Academy's Minami beats Sohoku captain Teshima in the subsequent mountain stage to win the King of the Mountains title. The steadily advancing Hakone Academy sends their ace Ashikiba and his assist Kuroda ahead towards the finish line! Hakone Academy believed Sohoku would have a late start on "Black Cat" Kuroda and his exceptionally flexible legs, but two-year duo Imaizumi and Naruko chase after him. In the intense final phase of the race, the battle for the finish line finally begins!

Kuroda's pulling puts Hakone Academy in the lead as the competitors head towards the first day's finish line, but Sohoku's sprinter turned all-rounder Naruko Shoukichi shows off his strengths! By demonstrating a new special ability that allows him to go quickly even while racing uphill, he doesn't back down from the challenge. Told by Teshima to decide between themselves who will be the ace, Imaizumi and Naruko act more like rivals racing against each other than teammates working together, while Kuroda and Ashikiba demonstrate their battle-hardened coordination. Meanwhile, the shadow approaches from behind both teams...

Sohoku and Hakone Academy are locked in a fierce battle! Just when it looks like the first day's victory will go to one of two teams, Kyoto Fushimi's Midousuji and Kishigami suddenly make a sneak attack from behind!! And the one who responds is...?!

The 3rd and final day of the tournament in which Sakamichi and Team Sohoku compete for their second consecutive championship arrives, and Sakamichi pedals as hard as he can to catch up to Imaizumi as quickly as possible.

As Sohoku and Hakone Academy temporarily work together to catch up to the aces leading the race, Kyoto Fushimi’s Midousuji and Mizuta who were racing ahead fall back to their position. Surprised by their early slowdown, Naruko asks what they’re doing. However, Midousuji is secretly advancing his plans using Kumamoto Daiichi’s Ise who is riding behind them. Meanwhile, Yamaguchi, who has been tasked with an important job in the current phase, resolves to fulfill the unreasonable demands placed on him despite his mixed emotions.

Midousuji’s strategy turns the rear pack into a giant swarm of piranhas. They swallow up riders one after another and eventually begin attacking the Sohoku and Hakone Academy teams that have been working together! Amidst the turmoil and confusion, Teshima is swallowed up by the pack. They desperately search for their partner, but betrayed by Midousuji, the pack loses speed. However, Teshima finds a ray of hope when he meets up with Aoyagi who falls back to help him. With well-coordinated teamwork, they chase after the riders ahead of them!
