They discuss the realities of filming in different locations and how Episodes used green screens. What the business that is show means on both sides of the Atlantic. And how writing for different voices means exploring the variations between American and British English, which Tamsin discovered in episode 2.

Exclusive from the BBC's Red Button, Matt LeBlanc, Tamsin Greig and Stephen Mangan talk to Executive Producer Jimmy Mulville about making Episodes. They discuss how the cast were able to suggest script changes, including the use of language used by the British Sean and Beverly.

Sean and Beverly Lincoln are a happily married English couple who are also the creators of a hit British TV show. Their life seems complete... that is, until a hugely powerful and charismatic US television network president persuades them to move to Los Angeles and recreate their show for American television. Things begin to unravel as soon as Sean and Beverly arrive in L.A. It soon becomes clear that the network executive has never even seen their show. To make matters worse, he insists that they replace their brilliant lead actor, an erudite Royal Shakespeare veteran with... Matt LeBlanc!

Sean and Beverly are still reeling from the network's decision to cast Matt LeBlanc as the star of their show. But when they meet him at a swanky L.A. dinner party at Merc's house, Matt couldn't be more charming or flattering about their show. Unfortunately, over time the natural animosity between Matt and Beverly rises to the surface, and Beverly learns just how much you don't want the former Friend as an enemy.

Beverly can't stand Matt, and the feeling is mutual. As a result Sean and Matt end up spending more time together, including an extended adventure in Las Vegas. Soon the two guys have bonded, leaving Beverly feeling excluded by her husband's new bromance.

Sean and Beverly's marriage has been ripped apart by Beverly's fling with Matt. And Matt's friendship with Sean appears to be beyond salvage. But as their sitcom "Pucks!" premieres in the U.S., the three are forced to find a way to continue working together.

Matt misses his "bromance" with Sean and tries to rekindle their friendship by buying him the sports car of his dreams. But Sean is not willing to forgive or forget that easily.

When network head Merc Lapidus's father dies, Sean and Beverly get a lesson in grief, Hollywood-style.

Matt continues to fight with his ex-wife for custody of his children. Sean and Beverly are back together, but they soon discover that it's not so easy to heal old wounds. Meanwhile, Carol's ambitions at the network are dealt a cruel blow.

Matt's custody battle for his kids gets more difficult after he gets a DUI with them in the car. Sean struggles with the news that Beverly spent a night with ruggedly handsome Rob. Carol, once again, falls under the spell of her charismatic new boss.

Bev and Sean are still struggling with their relationship. Castor Sotto is getting more and more out of hand and wants to cancel the show. Carol convinces him to give it another chance and they get a new time slot. Andrew gives Matt a pilot script that turns out to be amazing and he wants to be a part of it.

Sean and Beverley return to LA to shoot once-thought-to-be-cancelled 'Pucks!'. Matt gets some very disturbing news about his finances.

Matt tries to solve his financial troubles; networks compete for Sean and Beverly's new show; Carol must make amends to a woman she scorned.

Sean's former writing partner turns up to wreak havoc. Matt and Carol find romance.

Matt’s gameshow "The Box" is now a runaway hit. Unfortunately for Matt, success also means having a daily contact with his producer, Merc Lapidus. Meanwhile, Sean and Beverly are forced to work for Sean's loathsome ex-partner Tim, after Helen puts him in charge of their new show. And unable to find another job, Carol goes into a tailspin.

Matt's tryst with Danika goes viral - and no amount of damage control can contain it. Matt tries to take matters into his own hands by calling Elliot Salad, the head of the network, to plead his case but ends up getting more than he bargained for. Meanwhile, life goes on for the rest of the world. Sean and Beverly endure a disastrous casting session with Tim. And Carol gets stoned with her maid.

Matt leverages his newfound celebrity to get a new series guarantee from the network. Convinced that his best chance for success lies with Sean and Beverly, he tries to woo the reluctant Brits away from Tim. A large stuffed gorilla is involved. After weeks curled up on the sofa, Carol hits rock bottom - but finds solace in the most unlikely of places.
