A group of strangers get together to play a table top role-playing game and all hell breaks loose.

The next agent on the Soviet list, Tom Mallory, is a brutal man currently in prison for assault. Without his freedom, he can’t perform his task and bring MI5 one step closer to thwarting Operation Glass – leaving Daddy with a terrible choice. Joe, haunted by events in his past, continues to struggle with his lover’s killer’s role in the plot. But when it’s revealed that a possible nuclear strike is imminent, Joe makes a deadly decision to stop the information from falling into enemy hands.

The team discovers a sleeper agent with terrifying connections in the US military. Faced with a formidable foe who not only appears to be a traitor, but a trained spy with access to US bases, MI5 may be out of its league. Meanwhile, Daddy is on a mission of his own to secure the safe defection of his favorite Chinese dancer. But when his assistant, Wendy, goes to carry out the admin, Bobby Waterhouse catches wind and manipulates plans to gain information about Daddy’s secret life for his own personal gain.

This season, 'The Game' returns with a follow up to the enticing season finale. Derwin learns that it may be too late to reunite with Melanie after his infidelity when Melanie shows up with an old friend, Trey Wiggs (guest star Chaz Lamar Shepherd) to help collect her stuff and move out for good. Meanwhile, Malik becomes a chick-magnet for plus-size women after his on-air smooch with Renee. Wendy Raquel Robinson, Coby Bell and Brittany Daniel also star.

Homeless, heartbroken, and distraught, Melanie turns to Derwin's rival, Trey Wiggs, for comfort. After sleeping with him, Trey offers Melanie financial assistance, leaving Melanie to make a decision on whether or not to accept it. Meanwhile, Jason butt heads with the new coach ( Jason Lee ) when the Sabers football team is sold to new owners.

When Renee is unable to engage in romantic affairs with Malik after he invites her over and she learns that he lives with his mother; it prompts Malik to ask Melanie for advice, and eventually explain to Tasha that they will need alternate their living arrangements. Meanwhile, Jason makes a far out attempt to make peace with his new coach by hosting bible study for the team at his house, even though he's been idle from church for the last 20 yrs. Pooch Hall and Brittany Daniel also star.

Melanie finally confesses to Derwin that she is in love with him, but soon after Derwin tells her about Janay's pregancy. Meanwhile, Malik has to face Tasha once she finds out about his engagement to guest star Robin Givens. Kelly enlist the help of her parents (Guest stars Lee Garlington as Bren and Don McManus as Nick), to help her keep Jason out of her life.

Melanie has a confrontation with Janay when she thinks that Janay may be lying about her pregnancy with Derwin's baby. Meanwhile, Kelly invites Melanie and Tasha for a girls night out, and Malik is finally forced to confront Tasha and deliver his big news to her.

While Rick is ready to make their relationship public, Tasha refuses to do so and goes out of her way to keep it a secret from their co-workers. Meanwhile, Malik begins to realize that his marriage may not work out since Robin seems to be in it just for publicity. Finally, Melanie and Derwin's sex life begins to become practically non-existent because Derwin is too worried about becoming a father.

Derwin and Melanie are now two years married with Melanie being a housewife and a step-mom to Derwin’s son. If you remember, she spent the previous few seasons studying to become a doctor. Of course, she has some suspicion that Derwin’s son isn’t really his so she decides to get a DNA test behind his back. Tasha Mack dating a much younger guy named Donte. She tries to keep her true feelings for him low but ends up breaking out emotionally when she discovers his ex-girlfriend was Sheree from the show “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Meanwhile, we see Malik’s success getting to his head. He is currently sleeping with the majority owner of his team’s girlfriend (played by the hot Meagan Good) and he is pushing his best friend to the limits. He eventually gets caught by his friend Terrence who walks in on Malik in a Jacuzzi with the owner’s girlfriend and Terrence’s girlfriend. Lastly, the ongoing battle between Jason and Kelly continue. They just got out of their divorce and they spend the entire episode trying to get each other even more upset.

Melanie decides to tell Derwin the truth about the mistake in the paternity test. Meanwhile, Jason attacks the Sabers.

Melanie hosts a charity event, Maliki gets in trouble and Tee Tee decides he ain't taking any more orders from Malik

Season 5 opens with Melanie grappling with Derwin's accusation that she had an abortion. Meanwhile, Malik and Tasha deal with a drunken Jenna. Later, Tasha corners Malik about his relationship with Jenna; and a wild night comes back to haunt Jason.

When Derwin rehires Irv it sets off Melanie searching for her role in life while Tasha sues Derwin and Irv for money she believes she is owed. Meanwhile, Malik is forced to evaluate his extravagant lifestyle.

Hostility between Melanie and Tasha goes public at a fashion show. Elsewhere, Chardonnay's friends open Jason's eyes to racism; and Derwin takes Kwan under his wings. Note: Featuring Elimu Nelson and Kel Mitchell

Tasha takes steps to prove to Pookie that she’s dedicated to him while simultaneously struggling with her attraction to Rick. Meanwhile, Keira and Blue address the aftermath of their New York encounter after constantly running into each other in San Diego.

Jason's jersey is retired at a special ceremony; Keira hopes to reconnect with Blue.

Malik undergoes physical therapy for his arm; Tasha faces a difficult decision.

Jason must deal with the fallout after his admission that he still loves Kelly. Chardonnay turns to Tasha for help. Blue and Keira run into some speed bumps at the airport.

Keira and Blue both have a moment of clarity when they return home. Chardonnay plots her next move as she must move on from Jason. Malik shows up for practice and plots a return.

Chardonnay goes on Perez Hilton to redeem herself after Perez lambasts her wedding fiasco on national television. Jason gives Chardonnay real answers about the demise of their marriage. Tasha avoids her mommy duties. Jason berates Blue for his lack of focus on football.

In the Season 9 premiere, Blue starts a brawl when he finds Keira and Malik together—and the ruckus us caught by a surveillance camera. In other events, Chardonnay tries to expose Jason's steroid use.

Jason attempts to facilitate a peace meeting between Blue and Malik. Malik tries to track down Keira to apologize. Tasha deals with a life-altering family crisis when her father..
