The born-and-raised-wild Brown family reveals their unique Christmas traditions out in the Alaskan bush. They also reflect on the past year as well as what’s on the horizon for the family.

The Brown family takes a look back at their life in the wild and provides new insight into the most memorable and extreme moments while living in the bush. From fishing by hand to living among bears, no challenge is too big for the Browns.

The Brown brothers are forced to step up when building a one room cabin for the family. During some down time, the wolf pack of five goes into a small bush town to hunt for potential mates. It’s the first time they’ve been in public together in months.

As the Browns race to finish their cabin, temperatures plummet and an illness hits the family. Their ability to survive the winter rests on the brothers as they race to get essential supplies and complete the home.Then, the unexpected strikes.

The Brown family of nine makes the most of the long days during the short Alaskan summer. They hatch a plan to deal with a lumber shortage but then a sudden injury threatens to split the family apart.

In the wake of Ami's injury, the Browns have to work even harder to stay on track with winter prep. Birdie, Gabe and Bear set off to climb the alpine in search of deer. Bear steps up as hunt leader and his skills are immediately put to the test.

A happy homecoming for the Brown family means hard work is ahead to get Browntown back on track. Time away came at a cost and prospects are lean without a working skiff. A highly risky haul with an all or nothing offer may be the only solution.

While youngest Brown brother Noah stays behind to continue repairs to Browntown, the other 8 members of the wolfpack take on their riskiest haul ever in hopes of securing the skiff they desperately need. Failure will have far reaching consequences.

Patriarch Billy sees an opportunity to tie up loose ends, fortify his connection with the bush, and keep the wolf pack close with a family visit to the winter watch of Excursion Inlet. Along the way a failing anchor changes everything.

A storm overtakes Chichagof island and threatens the safety of the Brown Family as they set out on a journey to bring home a new addition to Browntown, while oldest brother Matt returns home for a fresh start.

Matt has killed a deer in the wilderness. But his mission is not fulfilled, because many black and brown bears live in Southeast Alaska. The predators have an excellent sense of smell and sense a carcass with its fine nose several kilometers away. Say: It is only when the resettler has dragged the 60 kilos of hunting to "Brownstown", he is safe from the hungry omnivorous. Matt's brothers and sisters are mixing wall paint in the forest - from berries and mud.

The Browns raise their defenses after discovering a dangerous new predator stalking their ranch. Later, Bird works on the Birdhouse while Gabe constructs an apartment for him and Raquell in the family barn.

The Wolfpack's first pheasant hunt turns into a competition in anticipation of a much-needed, post-Thanksgiving celebration. Later, Billy and Ami surprise the family with new additions to the ranch that will bring them closer to their roots.

The Brown Family kicks off their most ambitious plan to conquer the mountain yet. Bear and the siblings throw caution to the wind on a critical first project disassembling and transporting a salvaged 50-foot windmill.

When a hungry bear breaks into Noah's tent and spooks the livestock, the Browns suspect it is being attracted by the ranch's newest arrivals, three young ostriches. Later, the windmill assembly takes the siblings to dangerous new heights.

The first major storm of the season threatens the family's progress. With a big bush wedding coming in days, the Browns race to obtain and haul much needed water tanks before the full force of the storm hits.

The Browns scramble to pull off an "extreme" wedding on the mountain.

Gabe is attacked by an aggressive ostrich and loses one of his most prized possessions in the process. When the ranch gets hit with the first snowfall, the family builds a big bonfire to unfreeze the ground under their house site.

When the ranch comes under fire from encroaching hunters, Gabe takes it upon himself to learn to ride a horse as the family constructs a fence around the property. And later, Gabe and Raquell leave the mountain for the birth of their baby girl.

Billy rallies the family toward the next stage of North Star Ranch.

With the Browns committed to rebuilding, Bear gets the chance to finally meet his son River for the first time. But Bird grapples with her future, longing for life back on the sea in Alaska.

The Wolfpack launches into Spring with ambitions that will push them in new directions. Gabe and Bam ramp up their efforts to rebuild the ranch by turning burnt trees into lumber while Noah reveals epic plans for Alaska.

On the eve of their journey back to Alaska, Bird faces a life-changing crisis. On the ranch, Bear and Raiven decide to move up the mountain and finally start their life as a family.

While Bird undergoes emergency surgery throwing her Alaska plan in doubt, Gabe embarks on a risky wood salvage mission for his homestead build. Raiven gets her first lesson in off-grid building with husband Bear.
