Generation War, also known as Unsere Mütter, unsere Väter is a German war & politics drama action & adventure television series that premiered on ZDF on March 17, 2013. It ended on March 20, 2013. It was created by Philipp Kadelbach. It stars Volker Bruch, Tom Schilling, Katharina Schüttler and Christiane Paul.
Career-soldier Wilhelm, his pacifist younger brother Friedhelm, and their friends Charlotte, Viktor and Greta say farewell in the summer of 1941 in Berlin, with the promise to meet again after the war.
