Mortal Kombat: Legacy is a Canadian action & adventure sci-fi & fantasy television series that premiered on YouTube on April 12, 2011. It ended on September 26, 2013. It was created by Kevin Tancharoen, John Tobias, Oren Uziel, Ed Boon. It stars Darren Shahlavi, Samantha Win, Casper Van Dien and Ian Anthony Dale.
The first season of Mortal Kombat Legacy is a prequel to the original game, explaining the background stories of several characters from the series and demonstrating their reasons for participating in the upcoming tenth Mortal Kombat tournament on which the first game was based.
