Series synopsis
Acquitted, also known as Frikjent is a crime drama television series that premiered on TV 2 Direkte on March 2, 2015. It ended on December 15, 2016. It was created by Anna Bache-Wiig, Siv Rajendram Eliassen. It stars Nicolai Cleve Broch, Tobias Santelmann, Synnøve Macody Lund and Lena Endre.
After having success in Asia, businessman Aksel Borgen is asked back to his hometown in Norway to save an important local firm despite it being 20 years since he was sentenced and later acquitted for murdering his high school sweetheart.
