Series synopsis
Will Power, also known as 法外風雲 is a drama television series that premiered on TVB Jade on October 14, 2013. It ended on November 26, 2013. It stars Wayne Lai Yiu-Cheung, Moses Chan Ho, Jason Chan Chi-San and Vincent Wong Ho-Shun.
The two well known laywers YU YING WAI and LEE MING YEUNG are against each other in court. Because YING WAI wanted to win a case, it almost cost him his life and after that incident, he had a new view on life. Experienced lawyer LO SAM BO viewed the changed WAI differently, and recruited him to join his law firm as a probate lawyer. Premise

Experienced lawyer LO SAM BO viewed the changed WAI differently, and recruited him to join his law firm as a probate lawyer. Due to his debt, YEUNG was forced to go back and work at his mentor SUM YIK WOR law firm and collaborates with his daughter and lawyer SUM YUT KAN. KAN had been in a relationship with the wealthy SUNG KA YIU for many years, but YIU loves merit too much and had no interest in ambitions, which gave YEUNG an opportunity win KAN's heart. When the hearing for a case involving a will began, the judge happened to be WAI's ex-wife and YEUNG's ex-girlfriend LUK SZE YING, the two heroes meet again, but together they discovered there was another side to the case. The person involved just happened to be WAI's apprentice CHING KA MING, whom had a huge connection to the case. The actions of the lawyer lifted a crisis of life and death.

Episode 1 Counsel YU YING-WAI, who represents a shipyard, raises to defend against the charge filed by a mainland tycoon LAW PO. The main contention of the lawsuit is that LAW PO ordered a custom-made yacht from the shipyard, however, he felt dissatisfied with the yacht upon its delivery and asked for a refund from the shipyard with the liquidated damages totaling HK$100 million. As such, the shipyard hired YING-WAI as their defense counsel to traverse the allegation. To their surprise, the plaintiff's counsel LEE MING-YEUNG remains silent in court, and the only words he says during the trial is to ask the judge for a lunch break. During the court adjournment, LAW PO blames MING-YEUNG, whereas MING-YEUNG instead claims it's a sure win, requesting a bonus from LAW PO. After court resumes, MING-YEUNG tricks YING-WAI, making him act out of control emotionally, so Judge LUK SZE-YING has no choice but to announce a court adjournment…… |

Episode 2 LO SUM-PO, a senior accomplished lawyer, is well-known for his expertise on probate cases, and LAW PO is also one of his clients. When MING-YEUNG raises to retrieve the prize money, SUM-PO says that the money must be held for one month under current legal process. In the end, MING-YEUNG has to get a high interest loan from the bank. With SUM-PO informing him of the death of LAW PO, YING-WAI comes up with a new strategy. YING-WAI eventually turns the tide before he is defeated, whereas MING-YEUNG no longer qualifies to have the HK$10 million prize. Time flies and the debt payment is due. While escaping from the debt collectors, MING-YEUNG slips and falls, lapsing into a coma. YING-WAI receives his medical checkup report, which states that he is at high risk for a stroke. However, he does not take it seriously, and then invites SZE-YING to dine out…… |

Episode 3 YING-WAI and MING-YEUNG are both sent to hospital, simultaneously, both of them cannot help recalling their past with SZE-YING when they are unconscious. In fact, both of them still cannot get over SZE-YING. After regaining his consciousness, YING-WAI finds out that he cannot move the right side of his body. Fortunately, SZE-YING stays by his side, taking care of him. KA-MING, who was studying in the UK, returns to visit his mother SHUK-HING after learning that she is suddenly admitted to hospital. However, by mistake, he enters CHUEN-FU's ward. Unexpectedly, with CHUEN-FU's condition deteriorating rapidly, his son KA-CHEUNG and KA-YIU's girlfriend YUET-KAN dash to the hospital, yet they are unable to get there in time…… |
