Meteor

Mei Zuo (known as Akira in the Japanese version) got his pocket picked by a Japanese girl, Ai Sha, struggling to survive in Taiwan. Ai Sha fools Mei Zuo several times before she finally reveals the truth. Ai Sha, recently left Japan to find her grandmother. Mei Zuo agrees to help her out and after several events take place, Ai Sha and Mei Zuo start to practice dancing together. The explanation for this is that Ai Sha believes the best way to find her grandmother is to enter/win a televised dance contest. At the end of this Meteor Rain Chapter, a romance is strongly hinted.

Xiao You (known as Yuki in the Japanese version) comes back from Canada by herself on a quest for her love. She attempts to rekindle her relationship with Xi Men (known as Soujiro in the Japanese version) and at first seems to be unsuccessful. After an occurrence at the bar, Xi Men and Xiao You confront each other about their behaviors. Later Xi Men reveals to Xiao You a bit of his past and tells her about this girl, Xiao Geng, he once loved. Xiao Geng had discovered something very special, but he had been somewhat afraid of his feelings and had greatly disappointed her by not showing up. Inspired by the story, Xiao You goes on a time-consuming search for the "special thing" that Xiao Geng had wanted to show Xi Men.

Dao Ming Si (known as Tsukasa in the Japanese version) is charged with a crime and flees from police. He narrowly escapes the police, jumps off a train and lies unconscious on a beach. A young girl by the name of Xin Xin finds him and Dao Ming Si is temporarily taken in by Ah Yuan, who appears to be Xin Xin's father. Ah Yuan and Xin Xin live in a simple shack by the beach and are not wealthy. There are several twists to this plot, the main one being that Xin Xin does not talk. Apparently Xin Xin is not mute; she was simply traumatized by something that happened to her in the past. Thanks to Xin Xin's advances, Dao Ming Si and Xin Xin quickly bond. However problems arise in the second part of this chapter, when Ah Yuan learns that Dao Ming Si is wanted by the police and Dao Ming Si learns the truth about Ah Yuan & Xin Xin's past.

Spoiler Alert: Prof. Lehman discovers in his Mexican observatory earth is about to be hit by asteroid 114 Kassandra, thrice the size of Mt. Everest, more than the meteor which ended the dinosaur age, preceded by a minor meteor shower. Alas on the road back he dies in a car crash. His assistant Imogen has a hard time getting his data home, where the military HQ is inaptly advised by Dr. Nate Chetwyn. LAPD detective Jack Crowe is set up for his wife's murder by his dirty ex-partner Calvin Stark, who kidnaps his daughter Jenny, determined to make him suffer. That includes Jack's dad, the sheriff in home town Taft, trying to keep order and organize help as the first debris hits cause damage. Life soon breaks down worldwide, in panic and looting after numerous hits. The military uses its rocket arsenal.

Spoiler Alert: The military naively thinks it's over after 3 quiet hours with a body count over 22,000 worldwide. Imogen continuous her perilous journey, slowly, and warns them Daniel's calculations were off too in mass, Kassandra broke and the largest part is left. The new debris shower even hits the HQ, all satellite communications go down. The only hope is observing from a space mission, by Morse over ground aerials. The US arsenal being nearly exhausted, the Chinese join, the Russians must be tricked. Vindictive Calvin Stark escapes and gets hold of Jenny, so Jack pursues them all his murderous way to Taft. There his dad the sheriff must control panic after the nuclear power station is hit, and help them face Calvin. Michael gets in even more danger because of ma's foolish instructions, dad and a fireman heroically come to the rescue.

Shancai sees a different side of Ah Si when he visits her at her family home. In Sanya, she overhears Lei and Tengtang Jing discussing their past.

After graduating from the Ying De University, F4 decided to go Spain for their holiday destination. Shan Cai agreed to come with them after having an argument with Dao Ming Si. Shan Cai and Dao Ming Si landed to Spain without the F3, who decided to stay in Taiwan instead. In Spain, Dao Ming Si opened the letter that Hua Zhe Lei handed to him back in Taiwan. The letter suggest him to go to a church in Barcelona and ask to Shan Cai to marry him. Dao Ming Si decided to buy her a ring and propose in the church. Unfortunately, he met an accident and lost his consciousness while he was on way to the church.

Unaware about Dao Ming Si's accident, Shan Cai waited for him at the church. Meanwhile, Dao Ming Si was brought to the hospital by Ye Sha, the girl who was driving the other car involved in the accident with him. Shan Cai decided to call Hua Zhe Lei and told him that Dao Ming Si was missing. Lei immediatelly informed this to Mei Zuo and Xi men, and the three immediately made their flight to Spain. When Dao Ming Si woke up in the hospital, he was unable to remember anything. He soon left the hospital without any idea where he was going. F3 arrived in Spain and met up with Shan Cai and Teng Tang Jing. They have learned about the car accident which may have involved Dao Ming Si. When they arrived at the hospital, Dao Ming Si was already gone. Ye Sha found Dao Ming Si walking around streets of Barcelona, and decided to convince him to follow her in a farm where she lives.

At Ye Sha's home, Dao Ming Si was unable to tell his identity. Ye Sha realized that he might have completely lost his memory. She decided to call him 'Ah Xing' instead. Hopeless to find Dao Ming Si, F3 suspected that Dao Ming Feng might have kidnapped his own son, since she tried to make use of this tactic before in order to separate him from Shan Cai. F3 and Shan Cai contacted Dao Ming Feng, who was unaware about the whereabouts of his son. Shan Cai made an agreement with Dao Ming Feng that she's willing to sacrifice her love for Dao Ming Si if she can guarantee that he's in good hands. Meanwhile, Dao Ming Si now works at Ye Sha's wine purification factory.
