Series synopsis
Cruel Romance, also known as 锦绣缘华丽冒险 is a Chinese drama television series that premiered on Hunan Television on March 3, 2015. It ended on March 26, 2015. It stars Huang Xiaoming, Joe Chen, Qiao Renliang and Gardner Tse Kwan-Ho.
Rong Jinxiu, a country girl, travels to Shanghai to uncover the truth behind her family's death and crosses paths with Zuo Zhen, a triad leader. As they fall in love, Jinxiu also draws the attention of businessman Xiang Yingdong. Amidst growing danger, Jinxiu must navigate love, rivalry, and threats to her family’s survival.
