Series synopsis
Humsafar is a drama family soap television series that premiered on Hum TV on September 24, 2011. It ended on February 25, 2012. It was created by Sarmad Sultan Khoosat. It stars Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Naveen Waqar and Atiqa Odho.
Ashar and Khirad are forced to get married due to desperate circumstances. Sara is Ashar's childhood friend and believed she would marry Ashar. Khirad is caught within this love-triangle with other internal and external forces at play.

Episode 2 Maimona is diagnosed with cancer and requests help from her brother, Baseerat Hussain, portrayed by Behroze Sabzwari, who is Asher's father. Baseerat brings Maimona and Khirad to his mansion in Karachi. However, doctors claim that she will eventually die. Maimona is worried for Khirad and she requests Baseerat to get her daughter married. Baseerat decides that Khirad will marry Asher. |
