Veterinarian Dolittle, also known as 獣医ドリトル is a Japanese drama television series that premiered on TBS on October 17, 2010. It ended on December 19, 2010. It stars Shun Oguri, Mao Inoue, Hiroki Narimiya and Jun Kunimura.
Tottori Kenichi is a foul-mouthed but gifted veterinarian nicknamed Dolittle. His catch phrase is 'pet care means business'. He is the director of his animal clinic and rescues not only 'voiceless' pets but also helps their owners, who lack understanding and caution, with their problems and worries. Working with him is animal nurse Tajima Asuka. Premise

Help!! An Animal's Voice The episode introduces us to the main character - Kenichi Tottori. He works in his own animal hospital, taking ill animals in that were rejected by other clinics. He demands horrendous fees for his operations, but they always succeed. Tajima Asuka asks him to operate her horse. He does but she cannot come up with the operatin fees. That's why Tottori employs her. Although Tottori is a very cynical and blunt person, he deeply cares for the injured animals and tries his best to help them recover. |
