Series synopsis
Shooting Star, also known as 流れ星 is a Japanese drama television series that premiered on Fuji TV on October 18, 2010. It ended on December 20, 2010. It stars Yutaka Takenouchi, Aya Ueto, Shota Matsuda and Kie Kitano.
Takenouchi plays an aquarium employee named Kengo, who seems ordinary at first glance but actually possesses a secret that he would sacrifice everything in order to protect. Meanwhile, Ueto plays Risa, a young woman working in the sex trade in order to pay off her brother's debt, though her situation has led her to contemplate suicide. Premise
